The microsphere composition for contraceptive microneedles according to the present invention encapsulates a drug stably, exhibits sustained-release of the drug for at least one week, and has a particle size (Dv90) suitable for use in microneedles. The contraceptive microneedles according to the present invention offer convenient administration with once-weekly use, superior skin drug permeability allowing for short attachment times, and sustained-release of the drug for at least one week. The contraceptive microneedle patch of the present invention provides sustained-release of the drug for at least one week even with short attachment times, making it useful as a female contraceptive.
