In one embodiment, the handle includes a hollow handle rod including a recess on the peripheral surface proximate the top of the main piece of luggage in an extended state of the handle rod, and a plate member fitted onto the recess and including a recessed flat aligned with the recess; and a cross member fitted onto the flat by releasably securing to the plate member, the cross member-adapted to rotate about 90 degrees relative to the handle rod to form a cross support which is adapted to stably hold an auxiliary piece of luggage rested on the top of the main piece of luggage while towing the inclined main piece of luggage.

Abstract: A luggage wheel assembly comprises an L-shaped bezel including a hollow lower portion of arcuate section, and a well defined by the lower portion for receiving a wheel; and a shock absorber extended from the wheel into the lower portion. Lower, oblique first slot and upper, oblique second slot are provided on either side of an inner wall of the lower portion respectively. A wheel mount comprises a lower hole at either side, an upper hole at either side, an axle inserted through the first slot and the lower hole at one side, a hub of the wheel, and the lower hole and the first slot at the other side, two pins inserted through the upper holes and the second slots, and two C-shaped clips put on projected shanks of the pins on the second slots for fastening. The invention can eliminate wobbles occurred when towing on uneven surfaces.

Abstract: Provided is a bottom frame mounted on a bottom of a luggage. The bottom frame includes four corner units each comprising an inner wheel skeleton, an outer wheel skeleton releasably secured to the inner wheel skeleton, a link unit releasably secured to the inner wheel skeleton, and a luggage body layer sandwiched between the inner wheel skeleton and the outer wheel skeleton. The invention can simplify components of the bottom frame and carrying out highly adaptable molds so as to be cost effective and increase production efficiency.

Abstract: Provided is a retractable luggage handle system having a T-shaped or hollow rectangular handle grip extended from a top connecting portion of pulling rods. In one embodiment, pressing the push button will activate a spring-based transmission mechanism to push down a rod and an n-shaped pressing member to cause recesses of two levers engaged with legs of the pressing member to pivot clockwise to pull up one ends of connecting rods for unlocking locking devices. In another embodiment, pressing the push button will push down an n-shaped control member to contact and push down one ends of the connecting rods for unlocking the locking devices. The invention enables handle rods to extend or retract by one single touch manipulating the handle grip by a single hand.

The seam of the seat unit and the upper cover unit are placed on a top of the handle grip and the stomach portion of the seat unit has no seam. Therefore, when it is held, the hand of the user will not be in contact with the seam of the seat unit and the upper cover unit so as to have a preferred handling feeling.

Abstract: A retractable handle assembly of luggage comprises a single handle rod extended upward from a center at a joining edge of a top and a rear of luggage and having an upper portion and a lower portion connected to the rear; and a handle grip extended at a predetermined range of angle about a horizontal plane from a top of the handle rod toward a side of the luggage being perpendicular to the top or the rear of luggage in a stand-up position. An orientation of a hand holding the handle grip is parallel to a moving direction of the luggage being towed for facilitating an exertion of user's force thereon, thereby lowering a center of gravity of luggage for saving labor.

Abstract: A handle assembly having a single handle rod of wheeled luggage is provided. The handle grip is extended toward and proximate either side of luggage for ease of holding. Also, there is no interference of user's body with wheel while towing luggage. Moreover, the handle grip is capable of being disposed either parallel or perpendicular with respect to a straight line between wheels of the luggage by rotating either clockwise or counterclockwise for ease of being gripped by either hand which tows the luggage.

In a closed state, tabs of the zippers are put on protuberances, a trigger member is seated across a channel with an outer end thereof projected from the channel, a spring depressible bar disposed in the channel, a cavity ridden on a second rail, and an inner end thereof disposed in a well, a sliding board is disposed on a base with side lugs being aligned so that a padlock is operative to fasten the lugs. Unlocking the lugs and sliding the sliding board away from the base will slide a first rail along a groove, slide a second rail along a cavity, and compress a spring until a dent has reached a position below the cavity to push the trigger member outwardly to move an inner end thereof in the dent with the protuberances being exposed.

Abstract: A carrying handle of luggage comprises an intermediate grip including two end extensions each having an elongated opening, two end connecting mechanisms each including a first post and a second post each having inner threads at inside wherein the first post is inserted into the opening and the luggage case and the connecting mechanism are fastened together by driving two fasteners through a top of the luggage case into the first and second posts respectively, and two bellows mechanisms each including a bellows member interconnected the grip and the connecting mechanism. Lifting the grip will both move the extensions and expand the bellows mechanisms toward a center of the grip until one end of either opening is stopped by the first post and form a space between the grip and the top of the luggage case.

With this, a variety of bottom plate assemblies are effected for assembling with a corresponding luggage of conformed size. The number of molds for manufacturing a variety of luggage are much decreased, resulting in a reduction in the manufacturing and maintenance costs.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved handle for a luggage that the locking button of the retractable handle is disposed on the top center of the handle. The top surface of the handle is an arch shape with slope from one side to the other. The protrudent height of the button is flush with the higher side of the slope, so that the button will not be actuated unintentionally and the towing tubes will not be retracted unexpectedly when the handle is held while pulling or pushing the luggage.

Abstract: A frame bracket for lightweight luggage comprises a U-shaped plastic frame, a fabric frame covered on the U-shaped plastic frame, two L-shaped lower skeletal frame members each having a vertical member provided at the front corners of the bottom to secure the support plate, the plastic frame, and the fabric frame, and a U-shaped support plate provided on the bottom of U-shaped plastic frame. With the enhancement of U-shaped support plate and L-shaped lower skeletal frame members, the purpose of protecting the bottom of luggage and strengthening the structural frame is achieved.
