Preferred devices include downwardly-extending light and handle portions, interconnected by a transverse member. Preferred devices include moveable connections between the light and handle members and the transverse member, so that the direction of a beam emanating from the flashlight can be optimized to an activity undertaken while holding the flashlight, for example during a two-handed pistol firing position.
