Abstract: Accessories of a medical device, such as a defibrillator, are described. The accessories reduce delays in treating or monitoring a patient by increasing the efficiency of using, and the ease of use of, the medical device. An adjustable kickstand is movable between a collapsed and extended position to recline the medical device. In the reclined position, a display of the medical device can be more easily viewed by the user. Storage bags can be coupled to the medical device to efficiently store accessories for use with the medical device. The stored accessories can be coupled to the medical device while the accessories are stored within the storage bags. A port guard can protect and shield a connection between a cable and a port of the medical device to prevent the cable (e.g., an ECG cable) from being disconnected from the port of the medical device.

Abstract: Techniques to dynamically customize a menu system presented to a user by a voice interaction system are provided. Audio data from a user that includes the speech of a user can be received. Features can be extracted from the received audio data, including a vocabulary of the speech of the user. The extracted features can be compared to features associated with a plurality of user group models. A user group model to assign to the user from the plurality of user group models can be determined based on the comparison. The user group models can cluster users together based on estimated characteristics of the users and can specify customized menu systems for each different user group. Audio data can then be generated and provided to the user in response to the received audio data based on the determined user group model assigned to the user.

Abstract: A system may include processor(s), and memory in communication with the processor(s) and storing instructions configured to cause the system to orient webpage content based on user attention. The system may determine a user has navigated to a webpage. The system may generate an attention level based on received user feature(s) associated with activity of the user on the webpage. Responsive to determining the attention level exceeds a predetermined threshold, the system may identify a duration associated with the attention level, transmit an offer to one or more entities to submit predetermined content based on the duration, receive predetermined content from the one or more entities, identify, based on a predetermined amount of predetermined content space, selected content of the received predetermined content for placement on the webpage, and cause a GUI of the user device to display the selected content.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may use word embeddings to enhance scanning of programming code scripts for sensitive subject matter, such as confidential subject matter. The scanning may be performed by a neural network in some exemplary embodiments. The neural network initially may be trained on a corpus of programming code scripts to identify keywords relating to sensitive subject matter, such as passwords, tokens or credentials. The neural network may not only identify instances of the keywords but also may identify related terms as well. The output of the scan may be a ranked list of terms in the programming code script that may relate to sensitive subject matter.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed in which a user engaging in an online or in-person transaction with a merchant may create automatic expiring transactions for a credit card. The user provides the credit card information to an online interface or a point-of-sale device but specifies an expiration date that is on or before the actual expiration date of the credit card, known as an artificial expiration date. A token for the merchant is generated with the artificial expiration date. The issuing bank will honor the transaction with the artificial expiration date using the merchant-specific token, and the token may continue to be used with the online merchant until the artificial expiration date.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a system that utilizes regular expression (regex) to recognize at least portions of characters, words, text, numbers, etc. in a structured or unstructured dataset, any patterns associated therewith, and/or similarities between the determined patterns. In examples, a regex-based pattern recognition platform may receive a dataset and determine whether at least a first regex pattern and a second regex pattern can be identified. The occurrences of the first and second regex patterns and the frequency of those occurrences may reveal something about the dataset itself or any patterns contained therein.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to provide a semi-local authentication scheme. A server can transmit one or more encryption mechanisms to a user device, which in turn can transmit the encrypted mechanisms to one or more secondary devices associated with the user device, where the user device and the secondary devices share a local connection. The secondary devices can transmit the one or more encrypted mechanism utilizing one or more one or more decryption mechanisms supplied by the server, and then transmit the result of the decryption, e.g. decrypted codes, back to the user device, which in turn can then transmit a final decrypted code or codes to the server. Upon confirming receipt of the decryption from the user device, the server can authorize access (via the user device) to one or more devices, networks, applications, and/or components.

Abstract: Techniques to transmit encoded data along a transmission medium and decode the transmitted data along the transmission medium are provided. Some techniques include logic to encode data transmitted along a transmission medium, such as a fiberoptic line or cable, where the encoding is pursuant to a conversion between a first and second colorspace. The logic may further be configured to decode the data once it is received at a node along the fiberoptic line, where the colorspace conversion provides the basis, key, or cipher for preforming the decoding operation. The logic may be further configured to alter the encryption and decryption basis, key, or cypher by altering the colorspace scheme defining the encoding (and by extension the decoding) during transmission, including a transmission that takes place after a previous transmission governed by the previously defined (and subsequently altered) colorspace conversion scheme. Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for providing peer-based management of user accounts are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may include at least one memory and logic coupled to the at least one memory. The logic may be configured to receive a request from at least one first user account to unlock a second user account locked responsive to a fraud event, determine a safe authentication value for the fraud event, and unlock the second user account responsive to the at least one first user account being a safe authentication account and the safe authentication value being over a safe authentication threshold value. Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods may receive a first salted password having a first password, a first user device identifier, and a first browser identifier, extract the first password, the first user device identifier, and the first browser identifier from the first salted password, and determine whether the first password, the first user device identifier, and the first browser identifier respectively match a stored first password, a stored first user device identifier, and a stored first browser identifier. The systems may grant the request to access the one or more resources for the first user device or perform other actions depending on whether the first password, the first user device identifier, and the first browser identifier respectively match the stored first password, the stored first user device identifier, and the stored first browser identifier.

Abstract: A docking station for a medical device is described. In some examples, the docking station includes a frame and a base plate coupled to the frame. At least a portion of the base plate is coupled to a lower portion of the frame. In some examples, an electronic connector of the docking station is configured to couple to the medical device and to provide power to the medical device when the medical device is docked to the docking station. In some examples, a docking mechanism is coupled to an upper portion of the frame and configured to retain the medical device.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems and methods for providing a secure physical storage system. The system may receive a request to register a first physical storage box from an entity including location information and security information. The request can be validated by comparing the security information to a predetermined security threshold. The location information associated with the first physical storage box can be recorded to a blockchain. The first registration information can be received from a first user device. The first physical storage box can be assigned to the first user device and a first identity token associated with the first physical storage box. The assignment information associated with the first physical storage box can be recorded to the blockchain. A first identity token can be received from the first user device. Instructions can be transmitted to the first physical storage box to transition from a locked to an unlocked state.

Abstract: The disclosed methods may receive a first request for access to a first system memory from a new user and a first justification, the first request includes first role information and first current access information of the new user, determine whether the first request is within a request cluster based on first role history information and current access history information. When the first request is within the request cluster, generate a matrix from the first role information and the first current access information, and determine using a first neural network, whether to grant the first request based on the matrix. When the first request is granted by the first neural network, determine, using a second neural network, whether the first justification is similar to first justification history information. When the first justification is similar to the first justification history information, grant the new user access to the first system memory.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a system for generating custom content. The system may generate a first webpage comprising first feature(s). The system may transmit the first webpage for display via a graphical user interface (GUI) of a user device. The system may iteratively, until a predetermined threshold is achieved: receive data corresponding to a first user; generate, by an encoder, encoded data based on the data; generate, by a decoder, second feature(s) based on the encoded data; modify the first webpage to generate a second webpage comprising the second feature(s); transmit the second webpage for display via the GUI of the user device; receive user feedback associated with the second webpage; and determine whether the user feedback exceeds the predetermined threshold. Responsive to the predetermined threshold being achieved, the system may transmit the latest version of the second webpage without requesting additional user feedback.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may provide an approach to converting multidimensional color data for an image encoded in a first color space into an intermediate form that is a single dimensional value. The exemplary embodiments may then decode the intermediate form value to produce an encoding of the color data that is encoded in a second color space that differs from the first color space. In this manner, the data for the image may be efficiently converted from an encoding in the first color space into an encoding in the second color space.

The system may receive event calendar data and a first plurality of caption files and preselect a first caption file based on the event calendar data. The system may then access an audiovisual recorder of a user device, and receive a first feedback from the recorder. The system may then determine whether the first caption file matches the first feedback. When there is a match, the system may determine a first synchronization between the caption file and the feedback. When there is no match, the system may determine if there is a match with a second caption file of the first plurality of caption files and determine a second synchronization. When the second caption file does not match, the system may receive at least a third caption file over a mobile network and determine a third synchronization for display.
