Abstract: A concrete mixer vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a drum assembly coupled to the chassis, and a module coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the drum assembly. The module includes a prime mover, a cooling system, and a hood. The hood has a first end positioned proximate the drum assembly, an opposing second end positioned proximate a rear end of the chassis, and a top surface. The hood defines an internal cavity within which the prime mover and the cooling system are disposed. The first end defines an inlet airflow cavity. The inlet airflow cavity has a bottom surface and an air inlet positioned between the top surface and the bottom surface. The air inlet connects the inlet airflow cavity to the internal cavity.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for self-aligning pruning of trees. The apparatus includes a frame and a cutting tool that is attached to the frame. A power supply is connected to the cutting tool and there is a means for controlling the power supply. A support apparatus such as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is attached to the frame. The support apparatus can be controlled remotely such that it can position the frame horizontally and vertically. The frame includes at least one guide leg that is angled down and away from the cutting tool and the frame is connected to the support apparatus such that the frame can rotate relative to the support structure in the horizontal plane.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for intelligent collection and selective sharing of information technology asset inventory over a managed services platform is disclosed herein. An exemplary method may include receiving, from a customer, a selection of one or more information technology services of an information technology service provider. The exemplary method may further include receiving, via a network tunnel between a machine avatar in a computing environment and a base management node, network traffic of the customer addressed to the one or more information technology services; and storing a portion of the network traffic. The exemplary method may further include generating a service notification for the customer based on the portion of the network traffic; and transmitting the service notification to the machine avatar through the network tunnel.

Abstract: An auxiliary track device for movement of a vehicle. The auxiliary track device may enhance traction and/or floatation of the vehicle, such as, for example, by being installable on the vehicle to convert the vehicle into a tracked one and/or by being deployable to engage the ground in certain situations, including where additional traction and/or floatation may be desirable based on an environment of the vehicle such as one or more characteristics of the ground (e.g., a compliance, such as a softness or hardness, a slipperiness, a soil compatibility, and/or a profile of the ground), a state of the vehicle (e.g., a speed of the vehicle, loading carried by the vehicle, etc.), a user's preferences (e.g., ride quality, etc.), and/or any other suitable factor. The auxiliary track device may be used only for traction and/or floatation of the vehicle or may be part of an implement to perform work with the vehicle.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a computer-implemented method that includes accessing, using a processor system, a three-dimensional (3D) model of a device-under-design (DUD). The processor system is used to receive a first design operation associated with the 3D model of the DUD. A collaboration dependency model is used to make a prediction of a dependency relationship between the first design operation and a second design operation.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for forming personalized videos including a self-image of a user. An example method includes displaying a plurality of stock videos to a user, where a video of the plurality of stock videos is generated based on a live video featuring an actor wearing a mask and facing a video camera and the mask is a marker for insertion of a self-image of the user, providing an interface for selecting a stock video from the plurality of stock videos, and, upon determining that the user has selected the stock video, forming a personalized video using the selected stock video and the self-image of the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for qualifying external network facilities for a service location of a passive optical network (PON) of a PON service provider are presented. An exemplary method may include obtaining an indication of a service location of the PON and an indication of a set of required optical services at the service location; determining a group of candidate external network provider facilities for the service location of the PON based on geospatial coordinates of the service location and respective geospatial coordinates of the candidate external network provider facilities included in the group; selecting, from among the group of candidate external network provider facilities, an external network provider facility for providing the set of required optical services to the service location; and causing one or more optical services to be delivered to the service location via the selected external network provider facility.

Abstract: A foam-based seating furniture with an enclosure is provided. The foam-based seating furniture includes main body, a cutout opening formed in the main body, fitted fabric configured to encase the main body, and a removable nesting insert configured to friction fit within the cutout opening. The removable nesting insert can be inserted into the cutout opening, or removed, to provide a myriad of seating arrangements. The main body can be provided in a variety of geometries, including a square with a square removable nesting insert, a circle with a base and a circular removable nesting insert, and a hexagon having a circular nesting insert.

Abstract: A gaseous fuel-air mixer includes an outer shell, an inner shell, and a fuel chamber rib. The outer shell includes an air intake and a fuel intake. The air intake is configured to receive air. The air intake has an air outlet. The fuel intake has a fuel inlet that is configured to receive fuel. The inner shell includes an inner shell intake that is configured to separately receive the air from the air outlet and the fuel from the fuel intake and to provide a gaseous fuel-air mixture. The inner shell cooperates with the outer shell to define a fuel intake collecting chamber that is configured to receive the fuel from the fuel inlet and a fuel intake concentrating chamber that is configured to receive the fuel from the fuel intake collecting chamber and provide the fuel to the inner shell intake.

Abstract: Processing methods and apparatus for increasing a reaction chamber batch size. Such a method of processing deposition substrates (e.g., wafers), involves conducting a deposition on a first portion of a batch of deposition wafers in a reaction chamber, conducting an interval conditioning reaction chamber purge to remove defects generated by the wafer processing from the reaction chamber; and following the interval conditioning mid-batch reaction chamber purge, conducting the deposition on another portion of the batch of wafers in the reaction chamber. The interval conditioning reaction chamber purge is conducted prior to exceeding a baseline for acceptable defect (e.g., particle) generation in the chamber and is performed while no wafers are positioned in the reaction chamber.

Abstract: A variety of plates for footwear are provided including a polyolefin resin. Sole structures and articles of footwear formed therefrom are also provided. Methods of making the polyolefin resin compositions, plates, sole structures, and articles of footwear are also provided. In some aspects, the polyolefin resin composition includes an effective amount of a polymeric resin modifier. The effective amount can be an amount effective to allow the resin composition to pass a flex test, and in particular to pass a flex test without significant change in abrasion loss. In some aspects, the resin composition also includes a clarifying agent to improve optical clarity of the plate. In some aspects, the plates include a textile disposed on one or both of a first side and the second side of the plate. The textile can provide for improved bonding of the plate to other components such as a chassis or an upper.

Abstract: This document describes techniques and systems for vehicle localization based on pose corrections from remote vehicles in parking garages and other GNSS denial environments. A system can include a processor and computer-readable storage media comprising instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to autonomously operate a host vehicle and determine an estimated pose of the host vehicle within the GNSS denial environment. The instructions also cause the processor to transmit a pose request to a remote vehicle in the GNSS denial environment. In response to the pose request, the system can receive a corrected pose of the host vehicle from the remote vehicle. The instructions further cause the processor to use the corrected pose to determine an updated pose for the host vehicle. In this way, the system can provide highly accurate vehicle localization in GNSS denial environments in a cost-effective manner.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to dual-function medical devices with diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities, such as real-time visualization and ablation. Many embodiments may include an ergonomic handle and dual-lumen catheter configured for dual-function diagnostic and therapeutic use during a medical procedure, such as a duodenoscope. The medical device may be delivered within an endoscope working channel to provide real-time visualization (e.g., radial ultrasound imaging) and treatment (e.g., soft tissue ablation) of cancerous tissue. For instance, a first lumen may include a high-frequency linear or radial ultrasound and the second lumen may include a surgical instrument, such as an ablation tool. Some embodiments may include a controller with a feedback loop configured to adjust the therapeutic tool based on data from the diagnostic tool. For instance, the power of an ablation tool may be adjusted by the controller based on data generated by an imaging device.

Abstract: A fairing saver is a device to protect aerodynamic fairings on a semi-truck from damage while it is being towed backwards. The device utilizes two (2) pairs of clamp style locking pliers. However, in lieu of conventional jaws, each jaw surface on the present Fairing Saver consists of a hard plastic pad, each measuring three inches (3?) by six inches (6?). These pads are backed by a steel plate which also provides a pivoting pin that attaches the pad to the pliers. These pliers are then attached to the fairing surfaces of the truck. An attachment clip, welded to each of the pliers, is then used with a ratchet strap or turnbuckle, to keep the sides of the fairing from moving about during the towing process. The locking plier nature of the device means that it can adapt to any thickness of fairing and locks in place with the ultimate in holding power.

Abstract: A molded drawer guide for seating of a drawer within a cabinet. The molded drawer glide having an attachment portion configured as a pad opposite a spacing portion, and with a gliding portion therebetween, all unitary and having a common downwardly facing bottom surface to seat on an upwardly facing horizontal surface of a cabinet at the drawer opening. The gliding portion being rounded for receiving lower side panel margins of the drawer. The attachment portion pad for receiving a single fastener for attachment to the cabinet. The spacing portion having a vertical face to abut a vertical surface of the cabinet at the drawer opening thereby in conjunction with the single fastener stabilizing the positioning of the drawer guide on the cabinet and having the fastener connection between the guide and the cabinet displaced horizontally from the gliding portion that the drawer side panels seat upon.
