Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying a configuration of an industrial device using near-field communication (NFC) are provided herein. For example, the method includes receiving, via a graphical user interface (GUI) of a software application, a configuration schema for a group of industrial devices. The configuration schema includes a parameter and a range of available values for the parameter for each industrial device of industrial devices. The method also includes determining, by the software application installed on a client device, a configuration for a respective industrial device within the group of industrial devices based on the configuration schema, where the configuration includes a value selected from the range of available values for the parameter and the value is selected based on an order of transmission of the configuration to the respective industrial device. The method also includes transmitting, via NFC from the client device to the respective industrial device, the configuration.

  • Publication number: 20250135903
Abstract: A vehicle system and method for a vehicle implements a drift mode to vehicle wheels for creating a drift. A motor provides drive torque to at least one wheel of the vehicle wheels for propelling the vehicle. A steering wheel communicates a steering wheel signal indicative of a direction intended for the vehicle to travel. An instrument panel cluster displays a user interface menu that includes a user selectable drift mode. The controller initiates a drift mode based on user selection of the drift mode. The controller determines whether vehicle conditions are satisfied and enables torque to be delivered from the motor to the left and right rear wheels. Speed differential is enabled between the front and rear wheels. Based on a direction of the steering wheel, a desired torque input is determined to one of the left and right rear wheels.

  • Publication number: 20250136080
Abstract: A vehicle system for a vehicle that implements a launch control mode to vehicle wheels for creating a launch control includes a motor, an instrument panel and a controller. The motor provides drive torque to at least one wheel of the vehicle wheels for propelling the vehicle. The instrument panel cluster is configured to display a user interface menu that includes a user selectable launch control mode. The controller initiates a launch control mode based on user selection of the launch control mode. The controller determines whether vehicle conditions are satisfied and receives a launch intensity selected at the user interface menu. The controller enables torque to be delivered from the motor to all drive wheels based on the launch intensity. Wheel speeds are monitored and wheel slip is determined. Torque is sent to select wheels based on the determined wheel slip.

  • Publication number: 20250139607
Abstract: Systems and methods for reading from a transaction instrument are disclosed. In some examples, a system receives a signal from a reader interface in response to an interaction between the reader interface and the transaction instrument. The system amplifies the signal using an amplifier and based on a gain of the amplifier to generate an amplified signal. In some examples, the system converts the amplified signal. The system decodes data from the amplified signal. The system adjusts the gain of the amplifier based on the data. The system outputs the data, in some cases in an encrypted form.

  • Publication number: 20250142352
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to systems and methods for dynamically sensing and calculating the time remaining until a report of an interruption in cellular communications within specific areas must be made to an entity. Various regulations by different entities, whether the FCC, city, or state public safety organizations require reporting of cell phone outages according to their respective operational needs. The present embodiment provides techniques for dynamically calculating the time period remaining before reporting of an outage must be provided to a particular entity. A method is provided for receiving into the system the parameters for the regulation under consideration and an area of interest to be considered. The system will retrieve data from the various databases to determine whether or not the cellular service complies with the regulation under consideration. Calculations are dynamically made over time to determine if reporting under the regulation is needed.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, computer-program products, and computer-implemented methods for the automatic estimation of geographic boundaries. Implementations of the foregoing may be useful for automatedly determining the geographic boundary of a community. In some embodiments, a computing device may receive birth location data related to the community. Enriched birth locations for the community may be determined based on likelihood metrics. An estimated geographic boundary of the community may be determined. The estimated geographic boundary may correspond to a probability density of the enriched birth locations represented using the geographical coordinates. A graphical user interface may present a map and the estimated geographic boundary of the community overlaying the map.

  • Publication number: 20250139592
Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable hardware to facilitate a diagnosis of a failure of a first part in a vehicle. The system receives a maintenance message, over a network at a network-based marketplace. The maintenance message includes characterization information received from a component in the vehicle. The component includes a sensor that senses the first part to generate the characterization information. The system identifies sub-system processing rules based on the maintenance message and executes the sub-system processing rules. The sub-system processing rules cause a smart component engine to perform operations comprising identifying a sub-system and scanning the sub-system responsive to identifying an increase in a likelihood of failure of the first part based on the characterization information.
