  • Patent number: 9262676
Abstract: Technologies may provide for detecting, validating, or confirming the validity of a handwritten signature. A logic architecture may be employed to detect a digital handwritten signature and validation data associated with a signature event, and to send the signature and the validation data to a trusted server. The logic architecture may validate the digital handwritten signature based on the signature and the validation data. Additionally, the logic architecture may present the digital handwritten signature with a reference to confirm the validity of the signature. The reference may be associated with identifying information corresponding to the event to confirm the validity of the signature.

  • Publication number: 20150286590
Abstract: A buffer manager is generated by executing a script with respect to a buffer architecture template and a configuration file specifying parameters for the buffer such as, for example, number of memory banks, width of memory banks, depth of memory banks, and client bridge FIFO depth. The script converts the buffer architecture template into a hardware description language (HDL) description of a buffer manager having the parameters. Client bridges accumulate requests for memory banks in FIFO that is provided to a buffer manager upon the client bridge being granted arbitration. Accesses of memory banks may be performed one at a time in consecutive clock cycles in a pipelined manner. Client bridges and the buffer manager may operate in different clock domains. The clock frequency of the buffer manager may be increased or decreased according to requests from client devices.

  • Patent number: 9035261
Abstract: Systems, devices, processes, and algorithms for adapting and/or adjusting a reflectivity of a reflector in a radiation detector. The reflectivity can be changed by a reflectivity control signal that is generated based on an estimated count rate of events so as to adjust a probability of a photosensor detecting light resulting from the event via, for example, a scintillation event. By adjusting the probability, an energy resolution of the radiation detector can be optimized. The reflectivity of a reflector can be changed by changing a state of a thin film, a liquid crystal layer, or a suspended magnetic particle layer.

  • Publication number: 20140201958
Abstract: A lower stop assembly for slide fasteners comprises a left stop member and a right stop member. The inside of the right stop member is provided with a right slot and an annular orifice both extending in the direction of the inside, the annular orifice being located at the front end of the right slot and in direct communication with an opening of the right slot. The left stop member can be movably inserted into the opening of the right slot and then released from lateral notches of the right slot. As the left stop member can be released from the lateral notches of the right slot, when the left stop member needs to retreat from the right slot, the left stop member may rotate around the outer lateral wall of the annular orifice under the drive of the left slide fastener belt to come out from the right slot.

  • Publication number: 20140134287
Abstract: A mold for traffic cones has a female mold, a male mold and two cavities. Because each first annular recess of the female mold and a corresponding second annular recess of the male mold can hold a base of the traffic cone steadily, the female mold does not have to be placed under the male mold. Then the sprue can be formed through the female mold and can be nearby the two cavities. Besides, the distributing recess of the male mold communicates with the sprue and the second annular recesses. As a result, a liquid plastic material injected from the sprue is distributed and flows into the two cavities. After the male and the female molds are separated, two traffic cones are completed. Therefore, the mold for traffic cones as described can make two traffic cones at a time, which raises manufacture efficiency.
