  • Patent number: 11559975
Abstract: A duplex label. The duplex label has a first face ply having a printable upper side and a lower side, and a second face ply having an upper side and a printable lower side. A layer of patterned adhesive is situated underneath the lower side of the first face ply. A displaceable liner coating comprising an enabler, a facilitator, and a stabilizer is formulated, and the layer of patterned adhesive is covered with the displaceable liner coating. The displaceable liner coating is activated by bringing the displaceable liner coating in contact with a fluid. The second face ply is secured to the first face ply using the activated displaceable liner coating such that the printable upper side faces away from the printable lower side. • Patent number: 11530067
Abstract: A method for printing and applying labels comprises printing indicia on a first label using a printer to form a first printed label and holding the first printed label in a holding tray. The method includes moving an arm from an original position to a first position to collect the first printed label from the holding tray, and rotating the arm in a first direction to move the first printed label towards a substrate. The method comprises moistening the first printed label to activate a dissolvable liner of the first printed label. The method includes using the arm to apply the moistened first printed label to the substrate. The arm is rotated in a second direction away from the substrate. • Publication number: 20170151527
Abstract: A portable air filtration and purification system with a portable housing having three sides and an open area. The open area facilitates filter replacement. A pre-filter is positioned within the housing. A fan assembly having a fan housing and fan blades is also positioned within the housing and is adjacent the pre-filter. A post-filter is adjacent the fan assembly and is positioned within the housing such that the pre-filer and the post-filter sandwich the fan assembly. The pre-filter intercepts the air flow into the portable air filtration and purification system before the air flows through the fan. • Publication number: 20160031198
Abstract: A method for laminating a substrate is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: (a) providing a substrate on a conveyor belt of a lamination machine, the substrate comprising a transparent layer, an adhesive layer, and a core media layer, where the adhesive layer being positioned between the transparent layer and the core media layer; (b) moving the substrate through a first set of nip rollers; (c) applying a light energy source to the substrate; (d) moving the substrate through a second set of nip rollers to apply pressure to the substrate; and (e) moving the substrate through cooling fans. The light energy source activates the adhesive layer, causing the adhesive layer to soften and form a bond between the transparent layer and the core media layer; and the cooling fans cool the substrate causing the adhesive layer to harden.
