Abstract: To mitigate pulse shape degradation along a signal route, the signal is driven from two ends. One end of the route is loaded and the other is relatively unloaded. The loaded route and unloaded route may traverse two different metal layers on a printed circuit board. The two routes may thus be related such that the unloaded route has less RC distortion effects on the signal than does the loaded route.

Abstract: A machine memory includes multiple memory cells. Word lines, each with at least one word line driver, are coupled to the memory cells along rows. The word line drivers of at least some adjacent pairs of the word lines are coupled together by a pull-down transistor, in a manner that reduces read disturb of the memory cells.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for implementing attribute aware, relationship-based access control by receiving a query to access a relational database from a user, determining if a rule of the relational database is applicable to the query, determining one or more relationships associated with the query based at least in part on the rule, and modifying the query by adding an extra join operation to the query based at least in part on the rule and the one or more relationships. Further, when a type of the rule is row level, a where clause filter is added to the modified query to enforce a condition of the rule, and when the type of the rule is field level, a case column is added to the modified query and a select clause is added to the modified query to wrap the query. The modified query is processed to produce a result.

Abstract: A static random access memory (SRAM) or other bit-storing cell arrangement includes memory cells and a hierarchical bitline structure including local bitlines for subsets of the memory banks and a global bitline spanning the subsets. A keeper circuit for the global bitline is replaced by bias circuitry on output transistors of the memory cells.

Abstract: The device to monitor distance between people measures a pre-defined distance between a first person and other persons, and alerts the user when the pre-defined distance has been breached or violated for more than a pre-determined time. Intended to protect a first human from the deleterious effects of radiation (nuclear) associated with a second human, but useful in other circumstances, the device is designed to detect the presence of a first person within a protective radius of one to two meters of a second person by pairing the combination of one heat sensor with one distance sensor. In the event the first person is within that radius for the predetermined time, the device will alert the user of that circumstance. Alert feedback mechanisms can include an acoustic audible signal, a visible signal, a vibratory signal, or phone notification.

Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms are described herein for providing a connected multi-screen social media application. According to various embodiments, a selection of one of a plurality of media content items available for presentation in association with a content management account may be received. The selected media content item may be presented at a first client machine associated with the content management account. A message may be transmitted to a second client machine associated with the content management account. The message may include an instruction for displaying a social media application at the second client machine. The social media application may facilitate the exchange of user-generated content related to the selected media content item.

According to various embodiments, content management information may be received from a remote server. The received content management information may be stored on a storage medium. The received content management information may be processed to provide a content management interface. The content management interface may include a plurality of media content categories. Each of the media content categories may include a plurality of media content items available for presentation at the computing device. Each of the media content items may be retrievable from a respective media content source. At least two of the media content items may be retrievable from different media content sources. The content management interface may be displayed on a display screen.

The media presentation server may include a processor and memory. The media presentation server may be operable to transmit information for generating a media presentation interface at a plurality of media presentation devices. The media presentation interface may be operable to navigate and display media content. The system may also include a first and a second media presentation device. Each media presentation device may include a processor, memory, and a display screen. Each media presentation device may be operable to generate the media presentation interface based on the information received from the media presentation interface server. The second media presentation device may be operable to update the media presentation interface based on an instruction received from the first media presentation device.

According to various embodiments, a personalized content guide may be transmitted to a first client machine. The first client machine may be associated with a content management account. The personalized content guide may include a plurality of media content channels created based on media content viewing history information associated with the content management account. Each of the media content channels including a respective plurality of media content items available for presentation in association with the content management account. A message indicating a selection of one of the media content items may be received from the first client machine. An instruction for presenting the selected media content item may be transmitted to the second client machine.

A query of search criteria formulated via a graphical user interface is applied to a search filter to create a search folder. When the search folder is made live, the search filter is used to search one or more data stores for data items having metadata matching the query of search criteria. Upon finding these data items, the search folder is populated with a link to each data item having metadata matching the query of search criteria. The search folder detects when any new data items are added to a data store and when a change occurs to any metadata of data items previously stored in a data store. Upon detection, the search folders store links to matching new or changed data items.
