  • Publication number: 20210180120
Abstract: A method is disclosed herein for detecting an amplification reaction in a solution containing a biological sample using an array of ion sensors. The amplification reaction is indicative of the presence of a nucleic acid. The method comprises monitoring a signal from each respective sensor of the array of ion sensors, detecting a change in the signal from a first sensor of the array of ion sensors, and comparing the signal from the first sensor with the signal of at least one neighbouring sensor, the at least one neighbouring sensor being proximate to the first sensor in the array. The method further comprises determining, based on the comparing, that an amplification event has occurred in the solution in the vicinity of the first sensor.

  • Publication number: 20210031584
Abstract: A vehicle powertrain proactive damping system includes a plurality of proactive damping structures mounted on a powertrain structure with each proactive damping structure includes a magneto rheological elastomer (MRE). An electromagnet is associated with each proactive damping structure. A control unit includes a processor circuit. A sensor obtains vibration data regarding the powertrain structure. A LIDAR sensor is mounted on the vehicle and is electrically connected with the control unit. The LIDAR sensor provides data to the control unit indicative of upcoming road surface conditions to be experienced by the vehicle. Based on data from at the sensor and the LIDAR sensor, the processor circuit is constructed and arranged to control voltage to the electromagnets to selectively adjust a rigidity of the associated proactive damping structure so as to control vibrational effects on the powertrain structure.

Abstract: Techniques for providing a testing feature for computer programs may be provided. In some examples, seed input information and a network service identifier may be received from a user. A programmatic interface schema associated with the network service identifier may be parsed for metadata. In some examples, the metadata may include parameter information associated with the programmatic interface schema. Input information for a network service associated with the network service identifier may be determined based at least in part on the metadata and the seed input information. The seed input information may include a plurality of input permutations for an interface element of the programmatic interface schema. In some examples, the interface element utilizing the input information may be invoked to generate result information. The result information may indicate functionality of the interface element of the network service with an input permutation of the plurality of input permutations.

  • Patent number: 10037482
Abstract: Raster image processing computer devices buffer pages of print-ready bitmaps waiting to be printed by a printing engine. A computer device monitors the printing speed of the printing engine and estimates the processing time for the raster image processing computer devices to produce the print-ready bitmaps, based on the complexity of the pages of the print job. The computer device compares the printing speed to the processing time to predict whether the number of pages of the print-ready bitmaps buffered by the raster image processing computer devices will increase or decrease. The computer device places one or more of the raster image processing computer devices in a reduced-power sleep mode when the number of pages of the print-ready bitmaps buffered is between a buffer minimum and a buffer maximum, and is predicted to not decrease.
