    Abstract: A method of multi-path accessing a remote logic device under a Linux system is used to realize a multi-path access between an initiator and a target in a storage area network (SAN). Firstly, a communication is established between the initiator and the target. Next, the initiator requests to establish at least one link session with the target. Then, the initiator obtains an iSCSI-connected host assigned by the target, and also obtains a message about connected devices corresponding to the iSCSI-connected host through transmitting a report logic unit number (LUN) command. Then, the initiator configures a device mapper, and the device mapper generates information about redundant devices according to the connected devices and the corresponding LUNs, and the redundant connected devices are mapped into a unique mapping device.

    Abstract: A stator for an electric motor has a laminated stator core 10 formed from a plurality of stacked laminations, and a stator winding formed from a plurality of coils 20 wound on bobbins 30. The stator core 10 has a plurality of teeth 40 which extend radially and alternately spaced between and connected to circumferentially extending yokes 50. The yokes and the teeth are separately formed with each yoke 50 being a stack of yoke laminations 12 and each tooth 40 being a stack of tooth laminations 14. The teeth 40 are inserted through the bobbins 30 and arranged in a cylindrical form with each tooth 40 extending radially. Yokes 50 are then fixed between radially outer ends 144 of adjacent teeth to complete the radially outer portion of the stator core. Each tooth 40 has a radial location surface 144b which contacts an inner surface of the adjacent yokes 50. The yokes 50 and teeth 40 are fixed together by welding the yokes 50 to the outer ends 144 of the teeth 40.

A recess is defined in a top edge of each first cushion adjacent the window for receiving the screen of the LCD on the computer. The second cushions sits atop the pair of first cushions respectively. Accessory boxes are disposed on the second cushion. Each second cushion includes a bottom surface with a shape configured to fit the back of the LCD.     Abstract: The present invention provides genomic loci which are hypermethylated and differentially expressed in drug resistant cells compared to non-drug resistant cells. These genomic loci are homologous to the rab6 locus but map to a different chromosomal position. The present invention also provides nucleic acids isolated from these genomic loci by Methyl-Differential Display (MDD) methods, including genomic DNAs and cDNAs. The present nucleic acids are useful as probes for detecting mutations and the methylation patterns of the newly identified genomic loci, and of homologous nucleic acids. Nucleic acids of the present invention are also useful for detecting expression of mRNA from herein identified genes, for measuring expression of those and homologous genes sequences, and for determining suitability of therapeutic treatment. The disclosed nucleic acids and their homologs are useful for inhibition of multiple drug resistance.

    Abstract: A surface wave device is made by forming conductors on a surface of a piezoelectric material in a conductor pattern defined by exposing photoresist via a reticle. The conductor pattern is provided on the reticle in two parts each defining a set of substantially alternate fingers of the pattern, and the photoresist is exposed by two overlaid exposures each via a respective one of the two parts of the conductor pattern. Exposed photoresist can optionally be developed between the two exposures, and conductors can optionally be formed on the surface between the two exposures. The method reduces diffraction limits, permitting manufacture of surface wave devices with sub-micron linewidths for filtering at increased frequencies.

    Abstract: A longitudinally coupled double mode surface wave resonator comprises two reflectors, two lateral IDTs (inter-digital transducers), and a centre IDT arranged on a surface of a piezoelectric substrate, for coupling surface waves longitudinally between the IDTs. The two lateral IDTs operate with opposite signal phases by virtue of opposite connections, opposite polarities, or oppositely phased spacings from the centre IDT. Alternatively, or in addition, the centre IDT is divided into two oppositely phased halves. A filter comprising one or more resonators can replace both a filter and a balun in a radio frequency circuit.

    Abstract: A surface wave device filter comprises two 2-pole waveguide coupled double mode resonators (WCRs) electrically connected together in cascade. To permit narrowing of the filter passband for improved out-of-band rejection, e.g. for use of the filter as an intermediate frequency channel filter in a wireless communications system, while maintaining good matching for low ripple in the passband, a shunt capacitance is connected in parallel with the static capacitances of the two WCRs. The shunt capacitance is constituted by interdigital fingers provided on the same piezoelectric substrate as one or both of the WCRs, perpendicularly to the WCR fingers to avoid surface wave interference, conveniently in space otherwise used by rails of the WCRs, optionally with oppositely phased fingers to cancel surface waves generated by these fingers. A capacitance can be similarly provided on the same substrate as any other type of surface wave device.

    Abstract: A cascaded surface wave device filter comprises two 2-pole surface wave device filters connected in cascade. The 2-pole filters each provide a balun function between balanced and unbalanced signal connections, and have either their unbalanced or their balanced signal connections interconnected in the cascade to reduce electromagnetic feedthrough and improve spurious mode suppression. The 2-pole filters are conveniently longitudinally coupled double mode surface wave resonators which are described, or transversely coupled double mode surface wave resonators. Higher order filters can be provided by connecting further 2-pole filters in the cascade. The cascaded filter is particularly useful for filtering at radio and intermediate frequencies in cellular radio equipment.
