  • Patent number: 9352337
Abstract: A fixed angle hybrid centrifuge rotor includes an outer portion of composite material reinforced with fiber at least along a peripheral direction, an inner portion having stiffness less than ? of stiffness of the outer portion and provided with a plurality of slots receiving specimens, and a reinforcer of composite material mounted into the slots of the inner portion, the reinforcer fabricated from material having higher stiffness than that of the inner portion and reinforced with fiber along at least peripheral direction of the slot. The reinforcer penetrates the inner portion and at least a part of the reinforcer downwardly protrudes from the inner portion. The rotor can rotate at a high speed and provides improved safety.

  • Publication number: 20160047707
Abstract: A resonance generating apparatus for testing blade fatigue with reduced side load includes a mounting portion comprising a saddle including a groove corresponding to an external surface of a blade, and an assembling portion positioned on an external side of the saddle and joined by tightening members so that the saddle presses against the blade, a resonance generator including an actuator to generate a linear movement, a coupler(s) to maintain phase of a blade motion the same as an actuator rod, and a linear guide to guide a direction of linear reciprocating motion of an actuator body, and weights mounted on opposite faces of the actuator body to move in association therewith, and varied in a lengthwise direction of the blade so a center of gravity of moving masses of the actuator body in linear reciprocation and the additional weights is positioned on an axis of the actuator rod.

  • Patent number: 9242563
Abstract: A method and system for controlling a drive motor are provided. The method includes determining whether a vehicle is at a sudden braking event by detecting a brake depth of a brake pedal and calculating a depth rate of the brake pedal based on the detected brake depth. In addition, the drive motor is operated to reduce regenerative braking torque when the vehicle is determined to be at the sudden braking event.

  • Publication number: 20160018284
Abstract: The present invention relates to a resonance generating apparatus with maximized moving mass ratio for a blade's fatigue testing, which includes a light-weighted mounting portion provided in contact with an external surface of the blade, a plurality of actuators provided on an external side of the mounting portion, and a resonance generator configured to generate bending loads in association with displacement of rods of the actuators, and to reciprocate in parallel relationship with a moving direction of the actuator rod and simultaneously to prevent the resonance generator's motions in all directions except for a direction of testing, and a fatigue testing method using the same.

  • Patent number: 9094799
Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and method for sharing location information between users. The mobile terminal includes a user input unit for receiving destination information of a first user from the first user. A location information input unit receives origin information of the first user from a Global Positioning System (GPS) or a Near-Field Communication (NFC) payment module of public transportation which the first user gets on. A communication unit transmits the origin information and the destination information of the first user to a public transportation information system, and receives movement route information of the first user from the public transportation information system. A location estimation unit estimates a current location of the first user using time required by the first user corresponding to the movement route information.

  • Publication number: 20140308033
Abstract: Disclosed is an optical line monitoring system and method which detects an optical line where a disorder occurs, by using an OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) pulse pattern with matching information. The optical line monitoring system generates and stores a reference OTDR pulse pattern matched with identification information of an optical channel service unit, and compares the matched reference OTDR pulse pattern with the OTDR pulse pattern collected at an inspection time to verify an optical line region where a disorder occurs.
