Abstract: The mobile web map service system includes a map server configured to provide map data to a terminal in response to a request from the terminal, a multimedia point of interest (mPOI) content provision server configured to provide multimedia information based on a geographic location represented by the map data in response to the request from the terminal, and a terminal configured to request and receive the map data and the multimedia information based on the geographic location represented by the map data, and output the received map data and multimedia information to a user. To overcome limitations of a conventional mobile web map service, a service can be configured using a service application programming interface (API) including hypertext markup language 5 (HTML5)-based geo-location, map-control, offline browsing, and mPOI functions.

Abstract: A non-zero dispersion shifted fiber includes a core region, and a clad region located out of the core region. The core region is classified into a plurality of detailed regions in accordance with refractive index contrasts. Among the detailed regions, a region located at a center of the fiber has GeO2 concentration of 3.5 mol % or less.

Abstract: A rapid wave propagation analysis system using 3D spatial indexing and 3D culling techniques receives input data for wave propagation analysis using a ray tube method. The system divides an analysis region of the input data to generate quad-trees, performs object-separation on the quad-trees, and generates BSP trees with respect to their spatial relationships among objects obtained by the object-separation. The system determines valid reflection surfaces using the 3D culling technique to generate a ray tube tree, thereby searching valid propagation paths, when the generation of the BSP tree is completed.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus which displays a preset pattern is provided, including a fixing unit, and a cover unit which is mounted on a main body in which the fixing unit is installed, and displays the preset pattern if the cover unit is heated by the fixing unit. Accordingly, the heating state of the image forming apparatus can be visually shown to users. In addition, diverse type of patterns can be applied so that an effective design can be provided.
