  • Patent number: 12676921
Abstract: A dedicated extension and emulation proxy for wirelessly extending and emulating several USB-based data stream protocols, such as UVC, UAC, and HID, and standards for connecting high-definition video devices, such as HDMI, in a proxy fashion. The dedicated hardware and software extend these multimedia interfaces over a wireless network link through an emulation wrapper or proxy. The host computer does not virtually see the existence of the wireless connection because its network hardware and software are bypassed to compartmentalize point-to-point networking away from the host computer. The multimedia interface of the host computer is extended wirelessly using surrogate stacks along with protocol emulation transcoding.

  • Publication number: 20250330560
Abstract: A transparent projection display system for video conferencing and collaborative communication is provided. The system comprises a transparent projection screen of clear material, a video projector configured to project images onto the front side of the screen, and a camera disposed behind the screen for capturing video of a user on the front side. To maximize the brightness of the projected image as viewed by the user while substantially preventing the camera from capturing the projected image transmitted through the screen, the system includes a reflective layer disposed on the front side of the projection screen and a microlouver film disposed on the rear side. The reflective layer is configured to reflect the projected image toward the user, and the microlouver film comprises an array of louvers that block transmission of the projected image to the camera except along a narrow viewing angle aligned with the camera's optical axis.

  • Publication number: 20250253911
Abstract: An access point (AP) sends a first frame to a station (STA), where the first frame includes at least one of the following segment information: a first segmentation enabling indication and a first segment number M. The first segment number M indicates that an equivalent frequency domain channel corresponds to M subband channels. The AP communicates with the STA based on the at least one piece of segment information.

  • Publication number: 20250220138
Abstract: A system for video conferencing comprises a video projector and a transparent projection screen of clear material. A behind-display camera captures a video image through the transparent projection screen of a user located on the front side of the screen. To optimize the brightness of the projected video image (as viewed by the user) while preventing the behind-display camera from capturing that same projected video image transmitted through the screen, a series of optical layers in the form of films and/or coatings are included in the optical path between the projector and the camera. The series of optical layers may comprise a first linear polarizer, a partially reflective layer or dispersion layer, and a second linear polarizer. The first and second linear polarizers are orthogonal to one another, i.e., their axes are oriented 90 degrees to one another to block the projected image from being received by the camera.

  • Publication number: 20250201955
Abstract: Provided is a method for recycling a retired nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) cathode with an alkali-free solution designed based on Le Chatelier's principle. Citric acid is used as a leaching agent and leached at a suitable solid-to-liquid ratio and acid solution concentration. Oxalic acid is added to obtain a green precipitate, and the green precipitate is mixed with a certain amount of LiOH and then calcined to obtain a regenerated cathode.

  • Patent number: 11769350
Abstract: A computer system can automatically analyze a video of a physical activity and provide corresponding feedback. For example, the system can receive a video file including image frames showing an entity performing a physical activity that involves a sequence of movement phases. The system can generate coordinate sets by performing image analysis on the image frames. The system can provide the coordinate sets as input to a trained model, the trained model being configured to assign scores and movement phases to the image frames based on the coordinate sets. The system can then select a particular movement phase for which to provide feedback, based on the scores and movement phases assigned to the image frames. The system can generate the feedback for the entity about their performance of the particular movement phase, which may improve the entity's future performance of that particular movement phase.

  • Patent number: 11231850
Abstract: The present invention provides a new and useful hybrid digital and physical interactive writing surface. A user writes on a physical writing surface using thermal ink. Underneath the physical writing surface is a heating layer. Once the heating layer is activated, the thermal ink disappears. Meanwhile, sensors capture a user's strokes while writing, and a computing device digitally stores the captured strokes. Therefore, there is zero-time delay or lag time between writing on the physical writing surface and its appearance. Finally, there is no need to erase any writing nor use other sheets or boards after one use because the writing is automatically erased.
