    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for binarizing an intra prediction mode are provided. The method includes: acquiring an intra prediction mode of a luma component; if the intra prediction mode of the luma component is one kind of prediction mode in M, modifying a value of a serial number of a prediction mode Luma Angle of a chroma component to I; sequencing all prediction modes of the chroma component according to a preset rule; and performing binarization on the modified Luma Angle, and sending the binarized Luma Angle to a decoding end. A method for coding an intra prediction mode and a method and an apparatus for decoding an intra prediction mode are further provided. According to the present invention, coding efficiency is improved.

A video source is received and compression distortion quality of the video source is acquired. A transcoding policy corresponding to the compression distortion quality of the video source is acquired according to the compression distortion quality of the video source. It is determining, according to the transcoding policy, whether the video source requires transcoding. Transcoding parameters are generated according to the transcoding policy if the video source requires transcoding. The transcoding policy includes target video quality and the transcoding parameters include a target resolution, a target frame rate, and a target bit rate. The video source is converted according to the target resolution, the target frame rate, and the target bit rate, and generating a transcoded video.

The multi-view video coding method includes: minimizing an error between a currently coded view image and a warped view image of a front view image to obtain an optimal warping offset; calculating disparity information between the front view image and the currently coded view image by using the optimal warping offset, a camera parameter of a view, and depth image information of the front view image; and calculating the warped view image of the front view image by using the disparity information and the front view image, and predicting a current view image by using the warped view image as a prediction signal.

The method in the embodiments of the present invention includes: determining, for each pixel in an adjacent area of a pixel of a to-be-filtered depth image, whether the pixel meets a preset condition; determining a set of pixels meeting the preset condition; and determining a pixel value of the pixel of the to-be-filtered depth image according to pixel values of the pixels in the set. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a ringing effect at an edge of a depth image is effectively removed, and discontinuity of the depth image is reduced, thereby improving quality of a video image.

    Abstract: A method for coding multi-view video images is provided in the present invention. The method comprises: obtaining a view dependency between inter-view reference images for a viewpoint image; and encoding the viewpoint image in motion skip mode according to the view dependency and a first inter-view motion dependency of a first non-anchor image, wherein the first non-anchor image has no inter-view reference image. In the embodiments of the present invention, inter-view motion dependencies of the image under coding are set, and therefore, the coding and the decoding of the multi-view video images in motion skip mode are simplified, and the efficiency in and the gain of coding the multi-view video image are improved.

In the decoding method and device, position information of a corresponding macro block in a coordinate system is obtained by parsing offset information of the corresponding macro block of the current macro block, and motion information of the corresponding macro block is used as motion information of the current macro block.
