Abstract: A machine control system includes an input module, a worktable, a first sliding module, a second sliding module, a lathe feeding module, a lathe tool connected to the lathe feeding module, a milling feeding module, a milling cutter connected to the milling feeding module, and a control module. The control module is electrically connected to the input module, the worktable, the first sliding module, the second sliding module, the lathe feeding module, and the milling feeding module, wherein the input module inputs control parameters into the control module to control the first sliding module and the second sliding module. The lathe feeding module controls the lathe tool to slide along a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction reciprocally, and the milling feeding module controls the milling cutter to slide along the third direction and rotate along a first axis.

Abstract: A method for machining and finishing a metallic member to provide a finished product without any additional process uses a lathe and a milling process. A non-circular metallic member on a worktable is rotated, and lathe tool moved backwards and forwards to machine the peripheral top portion of the metallic member. The path of the lathe tool machines curved surfaces of the top portion of the metallic member. The rotation of the metallic member is then stopped, and a milling cutter is brought to meet the peripheral sidewall of the metallic member. The movement and feeding of the milling cutter is predetermined. The worktable rotates the metallic member to enable one end edge of the peripheral sidewall and then another to face the milling cutter, and have the end edge chamfered by the milling cutter.

Abstract: A milling method for machining a metallic member to provide a finished appearance is provided. A metallic member is positioned on a worktable. The metallic member includes a top portion and a peripheral sidewall. The peripheral sidewall includes an end edge. After rotation, the milling cutter is rotated and resists the peripheral sidewall of the metallic member. The milling cutter is moved along a predetermined path, and the milling cutter machines the metallic member to achieve a required shape and finish. The worktable rotates the metallic member to enable the end edge of the peripheral sidewall to face the milling cutter, and the milling cutter chamfers the end edge along a predetermined path, while simultaneously controlling a feed of the milling cutter relative to the metallic member.

Abstract: A scanning monochromatic spatial low-coherent interferometer (S-LCI) can be used to simultaneously measure geometric thickness and refractive index. The probe beam of the scanning S-LCI can be an off-axis converging single wavelength laser beam, and the decomposed incident angles of the beam on the sample can be accurately defined in the Fourier domain. The angle dependent phase shift of a plane parallel plate or other sample can be obtained in a single system measurement. From the angle dependent phase shift, the geometric thickness and refractive index of the sample can be simultaneously obtained. Additionally or alternatively, the S-LCI system can interrogate the sample to profile the location and refractive index of one or more layers within the sample using the disclosed techniques.

The scraping cutter is moved to contact the peripheral sidewall of the metallic member. The scraping cutter is moved along a predetermined path, and the scraping cutter is fed the metallic member to achieve the required shape and finish.

Abstract: An RF receiver/transmitter apparatus for carrier aggregation is disclosed, to provide a routing circuitry formed by a plurality of mixer modules for achieving both the function of carrier aggregation and the mixing frequency process of signals. This architecture allows sharing an RF front-end, improving degree of integration, and reducing hardware cost and circuitry power consumption. In addition, in the process of reception and transmission, the apparatus may perform different processing and configuration for each sub-channel to increase circuit design flexibility. Abstract: An embodiment is a technique to classify a flash device. Test data to a flash device are accessed in unscramble and scramble modes under a test mode. Error correcting code (ECC) results are recorded on the test data for the unscramble and scramble modes. A device quality figure is calculated based on the ECC results for the unscramble and scramble modes. The flash device is classified using the device quality figure.
