Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for detecting a session status based on a cookie associated with the session is provided. The present invention may include receiving an access request to a specified location associated with a server computer. The present invention may also include determining that the received access request has the cookie corresponding with the specified location. The present invention may also include receiving a last refresh time from the cookie. The present invention may then include determining the session status based on the retrieved last refresh time, a current request time, a refresh interval, and an overdue value.

Abstract: Provided are a method and device for multi-screen control. The method comprises: a server receiving a first access request message sent by a terminal and a second access request message sent by a set top box; the server determining a network platform to which the terminal belongs, and determining a network platform to which the set top box belongs; and the server sending to the terminal an internet protocol (IP) address corresponding to the network platform to which the terminal belongs, and sending to a proxy server corresponding to the set top box an IP address corresponding to the network platform to which the set top box belongs. By means of the present disclosure, the problem in the related art that multi-screen message interaction cannot be performed normally is solved, thereby guaranteeing network intercommunications between a terminal, a set top box and a server, and implementing normal multi-screen interaction.

A reservation server receives a reservation plan addition request initiated by a DVR set top box, wherein the reservation plan addition request carries a reservation plan to be added; the reservation server obtains from the shared storage server an added reservation plan which corresponds to the DVR set top box and has been added by a user; and the reservation server performs a conflict processing on the reservation plan to be added, when determining that the reservation plan to be added exceeds a recording ability of the DVR set top box according to the obtained added reservation plan. Accordingly, a problem in the related art that the load of a reservation server is too heavy and a failure processing ability of a system is relatively weak is solved, the load of the reservation server is reduced, and the failure processing ability is improved.

Abstract: A control device including a signal emitter, a signal receiver, and a processing unit is disclosed. The signal emitter emits an output signal including a first output component and a second output component. The signal receiver receives an input signal. The input signal includes a reflected component when the first output component is reflected by an object. The input signal includes an emitted component when the second output component is received by the signal receiver. The processing unit compares a first threshold value with the amplitude of the input signal and compares a second threshold value with the amplitude of the input signal when the input signal simultaneously includes the reflected component and the emitted component. The processing unit differentiates the reflected component and the emitted component and invalidates the emitted component according to the compared results.

The sensor detects position information of a user relative to the computer device so as to determine whether to enter a sleep mode or a recognition mode. The sensor also detects motion information of a particular motion of the user so as to return to an operating mode.

Abstract: A simplified socket structure of miniature light bulb sets primarily comprises a shell element and a holding element that is provided with a pair of opposite resilient arms to secure a miniature light bulb in position. When the holding element along with a miniature light bulb seated therein is inserted into the shell element, the resilient arms are urged by the walls of the shell element to move toward each other to firmly grasp the light bulb. Thus the miniature light bulb socket according to the invention has the advantages of simplified structures and promoted gripping effect.
