  • Patent number: 11154408
Abstract: A system and method for transmission of a signal for a powered assistive device has a sensor node with a wireless transmitter adapted for digitally transmitting a transmitted signal, the sensor node adapted for receiving and monitoring a sensor signal from a sensor attached to a user, and a master node with a controller and a wireless receiver for receiving the transmitted signal from the wireless transmitter. The master node processes the transmitted signal and communicates a control signal to the powered assistive device. The wireless transmitter transmits the transmitted signal at a first rate when the wireless transmitter adapted to transmit the transmitted signal at a first rate when the sensor signal is indicative of the rest state and to transmit the transmitted signal at a second rate when the sensor signal is indicative of the active state, the second rate being greater than the first rate.

  • Publication number: 20210282925
Abstract: A heart valve prosthesis anchored to an interventricular septum. The heart valve prosthesis includes a valve supporting frame and a fixing device. The valve supporting frame includes a valve stitching section and an artificial valve. The artificial valve is fixedly connected to the valve stitching section. The fixing device includes a fixing and supporting section and a fixing member. One end of the fixing and supporting section is connected to a proximal end of the valve stitching section, and another end of the fixing and supporting section is connected to the interventricular septum of a patient by the fixing member, to support the heart valve prosthesis and prevent the heart valve prosthesis from axially moving.

  • Publication number: 20210198699
Abstract: A reagent and a method for repairing an FBN1T7498C mutation by using base editing. A kit for efficiently repairing the FBN1T7498C mutation is characterized by comprising a base editor and a repair re-sgRNA directed to the FBN1T7498C site. A base editing technology is used to repair the mutation of FBN1T7498C through a precise CT single base mutation, thereby providing a method for treating a Marfan syndrome caused by such mutation.

  • Publication number: 20210163913
Abstract: Provided are fusion proteins that include an apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme catalytic subunit 3A (APOBEC3A) and a clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)-associated (Cas) protein, optionally further with uracil glycosylase inhibitor (UGI). Such a fusion protein is able to conduct base editing in DNA by deaminating cytosine to uracil, even when the cytosine is in a GpC context or is methylated.

  • Patent number: 10997464
Abstract: Digital image layout training is described using wireframe rendering within a generative adversarial network (GAN) system. A GAN system is employed to train the generator module to refine digital image layouts. To do so, a wireframe rendering discriminator module rasterizes a refined digital training digital image layout received from a generator module into a wireframe digital image layout. The wireframe digital image layout is then compared with at least one ground truth digital image layout using a loss function as part of machine learning by the wireframe discriminator module. The generator module is then trained by backpropagating a result of the comparison.

  • Patent number: 8142771
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel use of coccidian, specifically relates to the use of coccidian as a vaccine live vector. The present invention further provides a live vaccine with coccidian as a vector, which is transgenic coccidian capable of expressing exogenous protein or stably transfected coccidian that contain expression vector and can express exogenous coccidian. The present coccidian vector live vaccine can induce organisms to simultaneously generate protective humoral and cellular immune responses (including the mucosal immune response), as well as generate memory responses, which can be readily carried out and has stable effect and high biological safety without generating immune tolerance.
