  • Publication number: 20260076800
Abstract: Systems and method for generating a patient specific CAD model of a mitral valve include receiving digital images of a mitral valve of a patient and segmenting the digital images to identify structures of the mitral valve. A CAD model of the mitral valve is generated including modeled structures representing the identified structures. The modeled structures in the CAD model are connected at multiple locations. First loading conditions for the modeled structures are determined using a first hemodynamics model. Movement of the modeled structures are simulated based on the first loading conditions. A specified area is determined based on the CAD model. Second loading conditions are determined using a second hemodynamics model that receives the specified area as an input. The CAD model is calibrated by modifying a configuration of the modeled structures in the CAD model based on the loading conditions and movement of the modeled structures.

  • Publication number: 20260036563
Abstract: A method for rapid detection of microorganisms in beverages, includes placing the beverage sample under constant temperature conditions of 30-35° C. for 48 hours, and then adding it to a culture bottle with a sensing hydrogel and culturing it for 2 days for colorimetric detection; the sensing hydrogel is composed of Schiff base Composed of ZIF-90, neutral red, sodium alginate, and calcium chloride, it can absorb the carbon dioxide produced by microorganisms and respire, thereby causing a significant color change, from yellow to red. The advantage of the invention is that it significantly shortens the detection time, and achieves more economical and efficient detection by simplifying the operating process and reducing equipment requirements. It is especially suitable for microbial safety monitoring in the food and beverage industry to ensure product quality and consumer safety.

  • Patent number: 10402517
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and corresponding system for modeling a musculo-skeletal system. An embodiment of the method of the invention begins by scaling and positioning a musculo-skeletal model to correspond with motion capture data of a subject. Next, kinematically consistent motion data is generated from the motion capture data and then an inverse dynamic analysis of the musculo-skeletal model is performed using the generated kinematically consistent motion data, such that at least one analysis result is generated. The musculo-skeletal model is then updated to correspond with the at least one analysis result of the inverse dynamic analysis. Finally, the muscle activation of the updated musculo-skeletal model is optimized by determining at least one muscle force using the updated musculo-skeletal model, and by further updating the updated musculo-skeletal model to correspond with the determined at least one muscle force.

  • Publication number: 20090220668
Abstract: A method of making a clarified tea extract to reduce the cloudiness of a beverage containing the clarified tea extract by producing an aqueous tea extract that contains tea insolubles, adding a food-acceptable acid and a salt to the aqueous tea extract simultaneously and thereafter holding the aqueous tea extract with minimal agitation to produce a precipitate and clarifying the aqueous tea extract. Another method of making a clarified tea extract by adding a base to extraction water, contacting the base-containing extraction water with a tea source to produce an aqueous tea extract, adding a food-acceptable acid to the aqueous tea extract, and thereafter holding the aqueous tea extract with minimal agitation to produce a precipitate and clarifying the aqueous tea extract.
