The method includes: receiving, by a control plane node, indication information from an AMF node, where the indication information is used to indicate that the AMF node receives a service request message sent by a terminal device; and sending, by the control plane node, an identifier of a to-be-activated PDU session of the terminal device to an SMF node or the AMF node based on the indication information.

Abstract: A communication apparatus and method the method including receiving, by an access stratum (AS) of a terminal, a groupcast message, where the terminal corresponds to a member in a group, determining, by the AS of the terminal, a feedback resource based on a sequence number of the member, and sending, by the AS of the terminal, an acknowledgement (ACK)/negative acknowledgement (NACK) message of the groupcast message based on the feedback resource.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and a communications apparatus, and are used in the field of communications technologies, to resolve a problem of how to notify an access network device of an NR PC5 QoS parameter of a terminal. The method in one embodiment includes a home V2XCF that obtains an NR PC5 QoS parameter of a terminal, and the home V2XCF sends the NR PC5 QoS parameter to an access network device, such as a first network element that is in an EPS. The first network element receives the NR PC5 QoS parameter and sends the NR PC5 QoS parameter to an MME. After receiving the NR PC5 QoS parameter, the MME sends the NR PC5 QoS parameter to an access network device. The first network element may be an HSS or a PCRF.

Abstract: A data processing method includes receiving by an access network device a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication parameter of a group member device. The method also includes storing, by the access network device, the V2X communication parameter with context about a group to which the group member device belongs. The V2X communication parameter is used for allocation of a ProSe communication 5 (PC5) resource to the group member device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for data transmission. The method includes: broadcasting, by a relay device, a first message, where the first message is used to indicate that the relay device supports data forwarding; receiving, by the relay device, a second message from a remote device, where the second message includes data of the remote device; and sending, by the relay device, the data to a core network device based on the second message. In the present method, after receiving the first message broadcast by the relay device, the remote device directly sends the data of the remote device to the relay device without establishing a connection dedicated for transmitting the data of the remote device between the remote device and the relay device, thereby reducing signaling and reducing power consumption of the remote device.

Abstract: Example communication methods apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving air interface link signal information of neighboring network devices by a source network device from a terminal device. The source network device determines a target network device based on sidelink information of the terminal device and the air interface link signal information of the neighboring network devices. Then, the source network device may send a handover request to the target network device, so that the terminal device can be handed over from the source network device to the target network device. Therefore, the target network device determined by the source network device can better meet an air interface link communication requirement and a sidelink communication requirement of the terminal device.

The method includes: A transmit end determines a layer-2 address pair of a first V2X service based on a frequency band of the first V2X service, where the layer-2 address pair of the first V2X service includes a source layer-2 address of the first V2X service and a destination layer-2 address of the first V2X service, and the layer-2 address pair of the first V2X service corresponds to the frequency band of the first V2X service.
