    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a stress optical modulator. The modulator include a circular piezo-electric actuator; and a ring waveguide separated from the circular piezo-electric actuator by a top cladding layer. The circular piezo-electric actuator may be offset from the ring waveguide such that a first circular portion of the circular piezo-electric actuator is located on the outside of the ring waveguide and a second circular portion of the circular piezo-electric actuator is located on the inside of the ring waveguide. The circular piezo-electric actuator may be configured to change the guiding properties of the ring waveguide based on the voltage applied to the circular piezo-electric actuator by inducing strain through the top cladding layer to change the optical properties of the ring waveguide.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is methods for fabricating ultra-low loss waveguides. One particular method may include: preparing a substrate including a lower cladding layer in a deposition chamber; flowing precursors including deuterated silane and nitrogen onto the lower cladding layer in the deposition chamber; subjecting the precursors to an inductively coupled plasma-plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (ICP-PECVD) process which disassociates the deuterated silane and nitrogen and deposits waveguide material of silicon nitride or silicon oxynitride onto the lower cladding layer; patterning the waveguide material into a patterned waveguide material; and depositing a top cladding layer on the patterned waveguide material, wherein the ICP-PECVD process occurs at a temperature less than or equal to 250° C. Advantageously, the ICP-PECVD process allows for deposition of low hydrogenated deposition of material layers which may allow for low temperature fabrication of ultra-low loss waveguides.

The method can comprise obtaining a traffic parameter of a road intersection by analyzing road traffic information of the road intersection, determining a reference adjustment length for each phase of a traffic signal cycle corresponding to each lane of the road intersection based on the road traffic information and the traffic parameter. The traffic signal cycle has one or more phases. The method can also comprise determining a first adjustment length when a difference between the reference adjustment length and the first adjustment length satisfies a condition associated with the lanes of the road intersection and the corresponding traffic parameter, and adjusting the phases of the traffic light cycle at the road intersection based on the first adjustment length for each phase.

    Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of mortar, and in particular, to three-dimensional (3D) printed mortar and a preparation method therefor, and a 3D printing method for mortar. The mortar includes: 50-70 parts of ordinary Portland cement; 6-14 parts of sulphoaluminate cement; 2-20 parts of slag powder; 18-22 parts of fly ash; 0.25-2 parts of accelerator; 0.05-0.45 parts of cellulose ether; 0.1-0.3 parts of naphthalene series water reducer; 0.4-0.6 parts of redispersible rubber powder; 0.1-0.5 parts of defoamer; 0.1-0.5 parts of early strength agent; 0.4-1.0 part of polypropylene fiber; 100-120 parts of fine aggregate; and 30-40 parts of water. A 3D printing speed of the mortar of the present disclosure can be stably kept within 150-200 mm/s by using the above raw materials at a reasonable ratio.

The memory system may determine whether the bank data in the firmware data is compressed and, in cases that the bank data is compressed, the memory system may decompress the bank data prior to storing the bank data at a controller of the memory system. In some examples, a bank header in the firmware data may include information for the memory system to decompress the bank data. For example, the bank header may indicate the size of the compressed bank data associated with each bank. Additionally, the memory system may read the compressed bank data according to the indicated size and store the bank data at the controller or at a memory device of the memory system.
