  • Patent number: 9230074
Abstract: A method for switching wallpaper in screen lock state, a mobile electronic device thereof, and a storage medium thereof are provided. In the present method, an input signal is received by a touch screen when a mobile electronic device enters a screen lock state. Then, whether the input signal is located in a specific area of the touch screen is determined. A moving track of the input signal is detected if the input signal is located in the specific area. Finally, wallpaper of the screen lock state is switched according to the moving track. As a result, a user can switch wallpaper arbitrarily even if the mobile electronic device is in the screen lock state, so as to increase convenience of switching wallpaper.

  • Publication number: 20150180881
Abstract: The present invention provides an operations, administration and maintenance (OAM) security authentication method and OAM packet transmitting/receiving devices. An OAM packet is authenticated by utilizing a random number and an authentication code. A threshold for the number of failed authentication is determined If the number of failed authentication is greater than the threshold, the random number will be updated. According to the present invention, OAM packets constructed by malicious users or tampered with may be detected to increase security of OAM packets and avoid a denial-of-service (DOS) attack.

  • Patent number: 8761920
Abstract: A method for properly locating a flexible fixture on a CNC machine comprises probing a plurality of locators on a flexible fixture to determine a locator position on a coordinate system for the CNC machine. The position for each of the plurality of locators is analyzed to determine if all of the plurality of locators are within a predetermined offset limit from a nominal position. A controller is programmed with an offset compensation amount based upon the probed position for each locator when each of the plurality of locators is within the predetermined offset limit. The locator positions are adjusted if one of the probed locations is not within the predetermined offset limit. The CNC probing programs are generated by a computer language to accommodate various fixture configurations.

  • Publication number: 20140121821
Abstract: In a machine comprising a spindle configured for performing a machine process in positional relation to a table, a method of operating the machine comprises fixing a probe to the spindle and fixing an object to the table. A first orientation position of the object relative to the spindle is determined while the table is positioned in a first table orientation. The table is re-oriented to a second table orientation, and a second orientation position of the object relative to the spindle is determined. A position of a table reference point along a first direction relative to the spindle is determined by averaging the first orientation position and the second orientation position, and a position of the spindle relative to the table is adjusted based on the position of a table reference point along the first direction.

  • Patent number: 8676373
Abstract: A method for offsetting a part on a CNC machine comprises clamping a part to a fixture on a table for the CNC machine and machining a plurality of features and surfaces on the part. A plurality of global offsets are calculated for the fixture and the table based on location data of the plurality of features and surfaces. An actual part position on a global coordinate system for the CNC machine is determined by translating the fixture and the table by each the plurality of global offsets to the coordinate system. The actual part position is compensated to a nominal part position for each of the controllable axes of the CNC machine and a controller is programmed with a global offset compensation based upon the calculated offset for each controllable axis of the CNC machine to adjust each of the controllable axes to the actual part position.

  • Patent number: 8639295
Abstract: A method for unlocking screen, a mobile electronic device using the same and a storage medium thereof are disclosed. First, at least two signal input areas on a touch screen of the mobile electronic device are defined. When an input signal is detected within at least one signal input areas, a moving range of a trajectory produced by the input signal is calculated. And the touch screen is unlocked when the moving range reaches the predetermined value. Thus, the present invention provides a user with more virtual manner to close the screen locking function so as to promote the usage convenience of the mobile electronic device.

  • Patent number: 8564351
Abstract: Clock phases of clock signals in a dual clock tree are adjusted to compensate for variances in propagation delays of buffers in the clock tree. A first input clock and a second input clock are generated with the second input clock having a phase that is programmably shifted relative to the first input clock when the system is operating at a lowered operating voltage or different temperature, for example. The first and second input clocks are coupled to a dually clocked flip flop, each having a primary latch and a secondary latch. A composite clock signal is generated in response to the first input clock and the second input clock. For example, a first signal is latched in the primary latch in response to the composite clock signal and a second signal is latched in the secondary latch in response to the first input clock signal.

  • Patent number: 8494807
Abstract: The present invention provides a method to implement prognostics and health management (PHM) in individual electronic products (such as parts, components, boards, assemblies, devices, systems, and systems of systems). The PHM algorithm is performed during product screening tests, diagnostic processes, or after the manufacturer process. Certain performance, signal values and parameters, environmental and operational loads, or their correlations are recorded, extracted, and stored in electronic memory for that particular product. The stored data represents a the healthy baseline reference of that particular product at the initial point of its life. In one embodiment, where the healthy baseline is stored in the product, it can be updated according to different usage conditions. In one embodiment with the data is stored within the product, the PHM analysis can be performed in the field under conditions of use.
