In an embodiment of the present application, the method includes: receiving configuration information for data transmission, wherein the configuration information for data transmission indicates at least one of the following: first configuration information indicating pre-configured bundling resource(s) for one transport block (TB) or pre-configured at least one slot for at least one TB; and second configuration information indicating at least one resource for data transmission during at least one random access channel (RACH) procedure; and performing the data transmission based on the configuration information when a user equipment (UE) is in radio resource control (RRC)_IDLE state or RRC_INACTIVE state.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for user equipment (UE) scheduling-based resource allocation. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a first UE for wireless communication includes: broadcasting a scheduling indication comprising a serving range; receiving a scheduling request from a second UE within the serving range; and providing resource information to the second UE for performing sidelink transmission.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for shape refinement of a 3D mesh reconstructed from images is disclosed. A set of images of an object is acquired and used to estimate a first 3D mesh of a head portion of the object. A first set of operations is executed on the first 3D mesh to generate a second 3D mesh. The first set of operations includes a removal of one or more regions which are unneeded for head-shape estimation and/or a removal of one or more mesh artifacts associated with a 3D shape or a topology of the first 3D mesh. A 3D template mesh is processed to determine a set of filling patches which corresponds to a set of holes in the second 3D mesh. Based on the second 3D mesh and the set of filling patches, a hole filling operation is executed to generate a final 3D mesh.

Abstract: Disclosed is an impurity removal and modification method for pyrolysis carbon black of waste tires, the method comprising: dispersing pyrolysis carbon black of waste tires in an alkali solution of potassium ferrate; adding hypohalite; leaving to stand for layering; and performing centrifugation and washing on a lower-layer slurry to obtain a stably dispersed pyrolysis carbon black/water suspension. This modification method can be operated simply and easily; and by means of the method, ash in pyrolysis carbon black of waste tires can be effectively removed, and the pyrolysis carbon black is then stably dispersed in water. In addition, the modification method is low in production cost, and is green and environmentally friendly, and a waste liquid thereof can be recycled.

Abstract: Provided are a primary cell culture medium that contains a combination of an MST1/2 kinase inhibitor and a ROCK kinase inhibitor and is used for culturing primary esophageal squamous cell carcinoma epithelial cells, and a culture method using the primay cell culture medium. In the culture method, the primary cell culture medium is used to culture primay cells on a culture vessel coated with an extracellular matrix glue, so that the primary cells prolilferate rapidly. A cell model obtained by using the primary cell culture medium and the primary cell culture method of the present invention can be used for the efficacy evaluation and screening of drugs.

Abstract: The invent discloses a smart wearable device for vision enhancement and a method for realizing stereoscopic vision transposition, comprising a wearable device body, wherein the wearable device body is provided with camera lenses, image sensors, an image information receiving and transmitting unit, image enhancement units, and near-to-eye optical systems; the optical axis and field angle of the near-to-eye optical system are matched with the optical axis and field angle of the camera lens; the image sensor is arranged behind the camera lens; the real scene enters the image sensor through an image imaging device for image acquisition, and through the image enhancement unit, the low-light environment image collected by the smart wearable device in the low-light environment is enhanced and displayed clearly. The invention can ensure the enhancement of the real stereoscopic vision in the dark environment and the interchange of the remote and barrier-free stereoscopic real vision.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to a method and apparatus for sidelink DRX alignment. An exemplary method includes: obtaining configuration information indicating at least one DRX configuration for a data, wherein the at least one DRX configuration is associated with a first resource pool; and transmitting or receiving the data based on the at least one DRX configuration indicated by the configuration information. Embodiments of the present application can minimize the power consumption of the UEs as well as ensuring the data transmission among the UEs.

Abstract: Provide are a primay cell culture medium that contains an MST1/2 kinase inhibitor and is used for culturing laryngeal cancer epithelial cells, and a culture method using the primary cell culture medium. In the culture method, the primay cell culture medium is used to culture primary cells on a clulture vessel plated with irradiated trophoblasts, so that the primay cells proliferate rapidly. A cell model obtained by the primary cell culture medium and the primay cell culture method can be used for the efficacy evaluation and screening of drugs.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a text classification system based on feature selection and a method thereof in the technical field of natural language processing and short text classification, comprising: acquiring a text classification data set; dividing the text classification data set into a training text set and a test text set, and then pre-processing the training text set and the test text set; extracting feature entries from the pre-processed training text set through improved chi-square statistics to form feature subsets; using TF-IWF algorithm to give the weight to the extracted feature entries; based on the weighted feature entries, establishing a short text classification model based on a support vector machine; and classifying the pre-processed test text set by the short text classification model. The present disclosure solves the problem that the short text content is sparse to some extent, thereby improving the performance of short text classification.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for texture map generation are disclosed. A set of color images from a set of viewpoints and depth information of a subject's face are acquired. A 3D model is generated based on a color image and the depth information. A set of viewpoint-specific projections of the 3D model are generated along the set of viewpoints. The 3D model is refined based on minimization of difference between each viewpoint-specific projection and a corresponding color image. A set of texture maps corresponding to the set of viewpoints is generated, based on the refined 3D model, and set of color images. A dynamic programming workflow is executed to determine seams along which respective portions of the set of texture maps are to be stitched and the respective portions are stitched along the seams to generate a final texture map for the refined 3D model of the subject's face.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for wireless communication. According to some embodiments of the disclosure, a method may include: receiving, at a user equipment (UE), configuration information indicating a timer associated with fast master cell group (MCG) link recovery; transmitting an MCG failure information message in response to detecting a radio link failure on an MCG; and starting the timer associated with fast MCG link recovery. The sidelink resource of the first type of configured grant can be used when the timer is running. The UE assistance information and sidelink UE information can be allowed to be transmitted when the timer is running. In addition, sidelink configuration can be included in the RRC reconfiguration message for conditional handover command.

Abstract: Presented herein are systems and methods for modeling and increasing accuracy of statistical models by artificial intelligence systems for increased efficiency in computing in such AI systems. The models may be designed and tested by a single (or small number of) AI system(s) and shared to multiple AI systems for further efficiency. The design and analysis may include considering desired level of precision; applying artificial intelligence techniques to design an equation for use in development of a statistical model, including selecting parameters; calculating and reporting precision for the developed model; recording any models that achieve the precision level or have the highest calculated precision; and providing models to a plurality of artificial intelligence systems to increase efficiency in statistical analysis in such systems.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method of multi-access edge computing task offloading based on D2D in IoV environment, which models a task offloading strategy, a transmission power and a channel resource allocation mode as a mixed integer nonlinear programming problem, wherein an optimization problem is to maximize the sum of time delay and energy consumption benefits of all CUE in cellular communication with a base station in the IoV system. This method has low time complexity, may effectively utilize channel resources of the IoV system, and ensures the delay reliability of the DUE for which the local V2V data exchange is performed in the form of D2D communication. In the meantime, the time delay and energy consumption of CUE are both close to the minimum, thus meeting the IoV requirements of low time delay and high reliability.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for eyeball positioning for 3D head modeling is provided. Images of an eye of an object, a 3D mesh of a head portion of the object, and a 3D template mesh of an eyeball are acquired. 3D feature points for eye regions are extracted from the images. The 3D feature points are fit to a sphere. An initial pose transformation between the 3D template mesh and the sphere is estimated. Based on the 3D template mesh, a first set of points corresponding to the eye regions are interpolated. Based on sampling parameters for the first set of points, a second set of points are determined. A final pose transformation is determined based on minimization of difference between the first and the second set of points. The 3D template mesh is fit into an eyeball socket of the 3D mesh based on the final pose transformation.
