Abstract: A method is provided for forming and associating a lower section of a large-area field emission device (“FED”) that is sealed under a predetermined level of vacuum pressure with an upper section of a large-area FED. The upper section of the FED includes a faceplate. A first conductive layer is disposed on a surface of the faceplate. A matrix member is disposed on a surface of the first conductive layer, and cathodoluminescent material is disposed on the first conductive layer in areas not covered by the matrix member. The method includes disposing a plurality of spacers between the upper and lower sections of the FED to provide a predetermined separation between the upper and lower sections, with the spacers having cross-sectional shapes commensurate with stresses exerted on the spacers and/or heights commensurate with stresses exerted on the spacers. Resulting FED structures are disclosed.

Abstract: A mobile hunting stand is provided that is suitable for use by both able and disabled persons. The present invention comprises a towed mobile base having a plurality of stabilizing leg members for use during set-up of the hunting stand. Located on the base is the actuation equipment, a hydraulic cylinder, pump and battery, for a lift mechanism. The lift mechanism is connected to a platform which may be raised above the mobile base for use in hunting, bird watching or otherwise as an observation post.

Abstract: Permeable subterranean underground formations and fractures can be sealed using lost circulating material fluids having borate and metallic crosslinked polysaccharide gels that are crosslink in the well bore. Compositions and methods are illustrated whereby lost circulation material solids can be mixed in a mixing tank on the surface with a crosslinkable polysaccharide and a crosslinking agent under conditions whereby the lost circulating material fluid can be pumped into the well bore before undergoing gelation. Once the lost circulation material fluid equilibrates to the reservoir temperature the polysaccharide component of the lost circulation material fluid will crosslink.

Abstract: A scale inhibitor solution composition comprising water; an organophosphorous scale inhibitor selected from the group consisting of nitrilotri(methylene phosphonic acid), diethylenetriaminepenta-(methylene phosphonic acid) and salts thereof with monovalent cations; and sodium chloride in a concentration of between about 12 and about 14% by weight of the scale inhibitor solution.
