    Abstract: In a light source apparatus, a method of manufacturing the light source and a backlight assembly having the same, a light guide plate (LGP) includes an upper surface and a lower surface facing each other and a first side surface and a second side surface. The light source is placed in the LGP adjacent to the first side surface and emits light toward the second side surface. The power supply unit is electrically connected to the light source and partially placed in the LGP. The light source may include a lamp or a light-emitting diode (LED). The power supply unit may include a wire or a power supply substrate. The light source apparatus may be formed by an injection molding process using lower and upper mold frames. Therefore, backlight assembly size, the number of parts and manufacturing steps may be decreased, and the illumination quality may be improved.

A plurality of protrusions is formed on an upper surface of the lower gate plate in a location corresponding to a location in which the plurality of recesses is formed. The gate also includes a resin injection portion through which a resin is injected into the cavity.

    Abstract: The invention provides a length adjustable pole display system. The pole display system includes a display unit for displaying information, a base placed on a floor, and a pole unit connecting between the display having an upper end attached to the display unit, a lower pole having a lower end attached to the base and an adjustment member meshed with an outer surface of the lower pole into which a lower end of the upper pole is inserted. The adjustment member tightens an upper inner surface of the lower pole against a lower outer surface of the upper pole when locked. The poll connecting between the display unit and the base can be adjusted in length freely and simply to flexibly vary the whole length of the pole display system, thereby improving user convenience.

The tape recorder further includes a locking member 130 for selectively fixing said first and second manipulation levers 110 and 120 upon ascending of said magnetic head due to advancement of said first and second manipulation levers 110 and 120. The tape recorder further includes a tape running direction reversing member 140 installed coaxially with said locking member 130, for being turned as much as a certain amount of angle upon advancing of said second manipulation lever 120, so as to push a program lever 150 (which pushes a cam gear).
