    Abstract: The present invention relates to a nitrogen-rich wastewater treatment apparatus using a partial nitritation sequencing batch reactor (SBR) tank, ammonium oxidizing bacteria (AOB) granules and anaerobic ammonium oxidation (ANAMMOX). AOB granules can efficiently be formed by means of a sludge exchange between the SBR tank and an AOB granule production tank. Moreover, partial nitritation is performed by means of allowing the AOB granules to flow into the SBR tank again, nitrogen is quickly removed by means of ANAMMOX without a supply of an external carbon source, and oxygen and an organic material are reduced and a sludge yield decreases compared to an existing method.

The probe arm has a polarization delay unit that linearly polarizes the light and then splits it into S-wave component and P-wave component, where the S-wave component and P-wave component are superimposed through optical paths of different optical path lengths, respectively, after which optical detectors are used to detect different spectral interference beams in the depth direction of the measuring target corresponding to the vertically polarized component and horizontally polarized component, which respectively correspond to the S-wave component and P-wave component, to obtain four spectral interference signals.

The proposed invention describes OCT system embodiments that may be configured for multi-scale imaging, with the capability of switching between low or high lateral resolution, and with the assistance of adaptive optics for aberration correction. The invention also describes a method for enhancing OCT image quality by reducing or eliminating the negative effects introduced by sources and speed by performing bidirectional scanning.
