  • Patent number: 11138052
Abstract: A system includes a memory buffer, a first data processor, a second data processor, and a controller. The first data processor performs a write operation to write data into the memory buffer and provides a first reference indicating a status or progress of the write operation. The controller provides a second reference indicating a buffer block in the memory buffer. The second data processor receives the first reference and the second reference, uses a threshold and the first reference to determine whether the buffer block contains enough data to be processed by the second data processor, obtains data to be processed from the buffer block using the second reference if the buffer block contains enough data to be processed, and processes the data obtained from the buffer block.

  • Publication number: 20210216232
Abstract: A memory data migration method, apparatus, and system are provided. During memory migration, data is classified into two parts based on a hot and cold degree of the data. Hot data is directly migrated, and cold data is written into a shared storage device shared by memories. When needing to be used in a destination-end memory, the cold data may be read from the shared storage device. This reduces an amount of data that needs to be migrated to the destination-end memory, thereby improving memory migration efficiency.

  • Patent number: 10694451
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for determining an optimal access point for a client device based on the relative difference between signal strengths of wireless signals received by the client device from access points. In particular, the signal strengths of wireless signals received by a client device from access points are determined without receipt of signal strength and/or transmit power information from the client device. Instead, the signal strength difference value may be determined based on known characteristics of signals transmitted by the access points and known characteristics of signals received by the access points from the client device. This relative difference value may thereafter be used to determine an appropriate access point to provide network access to the client device.
