    Abstract: An alignment recess formed in a cover substrate such as a cover for a MEMS device allows a second substrate to be bonded to the cover substrate. The alignment recess is larger than the second substrate and has two corner regions diagonally opposite each other where a wall of the recess protrudes to form a notch. The notch is dimensioned such that when the second substrate is disposed within the recess with two opposing corners surrounded by respective notches of the recess, the angular position of the second substrate relative to the cover substrate can be controlled to within a desired amount of rotation.

QoS-related metrics may include a network slice, a QoS Flow Identifier (“QFI”), other suitable metrics. A Slice-Based Priority (“SBP”) determine one or more priority (e.g., SBP) values for UEs connected to the one or more RANs, and/or for UEs requesting connection to such RANs. In addition to QoS-related metrics priority values may be determined based on RAN-related metrics, such as Allocation and Retention Priority (“ARP”) values associated with a UE. RANs may accordingly be able to allocate resources, accept or deny connection requests, and/or perform preemption based at least partly on slice-related QoS metrics, thus preserving end-to-end QoS parameters.

The FOV range for an obstacle is identified through initial detection sweeps, and at least one of the transmitting-end scheme or the receiving-end scheme are changed accordingly during subsequent detection sweeps to reduce the power consumption within a FOV range where no obstacle exists and appropriately increase the energy within the sub-fields of view and time slice range where an obstacle exists, thereby improving the signal-to-noise ratio and the ranging capability.
