Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a gateway system and a communication method. The gateway system includes: a control plane entity, connected or integrated with a mobility management network element, and configured to allocate an IP address to UE and configure a data path for connecting a user plane entity with an RAN, a PDN or another gateway; one or more user plane entities, located between the PDN and the RAN, independent of the control plane entity, configured to forward data on the data path configured by the control plane entity. The gateway system is composed of the control plane entity and the user plane entity which are independent of each other, the number of the user plane entities may be independently changed to adapt to the change of network traffic without replacing all gateway entities, the network deployment is more convenient and the cost is lower.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a solar battery. The solar battery comprises a semiconductor structure, a back electrode, and an upper electrode. The semiconductor structure defines a first surface and a second surface. The semiconductor structure comprises an N-type semiconductor layer and a P-type semiconductor layer. The back electrode is located on the first surface. The upper electrode is located on the second surface. The back electrode comprises a first carbon nanotube, the upper electrode comprises a second carbon nanotube, and the first carbon nanotube intersects with the second carbon nanotube. A multilayer structure is formed by an overlapping region of the first carbon nanotube, the semiconductor structure and the second carbon nanotube.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides genetically modified plants, plant cells and plant tissues that show reduced lignin content as compared to a control plant which was not genetically modified. In addition, the disclosure provides methods of regulating lignin content in a plant. The disclosure also provides methods of producing bioproducts using the genetically modified plants of the instant disclosure.

Abstract: Provided are methods of producing cobalt nanoparticles (Co NPs). The methods include combining a cobalt salt, a capping agent, and a reducing agent, under Co NP synthesis conditions including a temperature selected to produce cobalt nanoparticles of a pre-selected diameter, where the temperature and pre-selected diameter are inversely related. In certain aspects, the methods further include producing hollow gold nano spheres (HGNs) using the cobalt nanoparticles as scaffolds. Also provided are cobalt nanoparticles and hollow gold nano spheres (HGNs) produced according to the present methods. Kits that find use in practicing the methods of the present disclosure are also provided.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for detecting truncation and overlap defects. Location and size information for the elements of the webpage are obtained. An intersection over union (IoU) calculation is performed for two webpage elements using the obtained location and size information for at least one of these webpage elements. Furthermore, the location relationship between these two webpage elements is determined. A table, which defines truncation defect and overlap defect scenarios, is then reviewed to determine if there are any truncation or overlap defects in these two webpage elements using the IoU calculation, the location relationship and the text condition, which indicates whether text is included in one of the two webpage elements. If any truncation or overlap defects are found in the webpage, then such truncation and/or overlap defects are marked on a screen capture of the webpage.

Abstract: Availability of future capacity can be determined for various categories of resources. In some embodiments, logistic regression models are used to obtain binary predictions of availability. In this way, a customer or other entity can obtain a determination as to the availability of a specific number and category or resources, or resource instances, at a future period of time. In some embodiments alternatives may be provided, which may provide improved characteristics or may have a higher likelihood of availability. Such approaches can also be used to monitor current and future capacity demands and enable a provider to better plan appropriate adjustments to the physical resources that provide that capacity.

The prism device includes: a bearing frame; a supporting-restoring assembly; a prism; and shape memory alloy wires configured to drive the supporting-restoring assembly and the prism to rotate relative to the bearing frame. Two opposite sides of the bearing frame are each provided with limiting grooves, two opposite sides of the supporting-restoring assembly are each provided with limiting arms inserted into the limiting grooves in one-to-one correspondence; and each limiting arm and a corresponding limiting groove form a clearance fit in such a manner that the limiting arm is movable in the limiting groove. In the present invention, two opposite sides of the bearing frame are provided with limiting grooves, and limiting arms on the supporting-restoring assembly are inserted into the limiting grooves, thereby preventing the supporting-restoring assembly from escaping from the bearing frame during use.

A method for simulating a dynamic hybrid network includes modeling a transmission supply of a mesh network of moving stations on aerial vehicles in flight at each time step in a time series, modeling capacity demand as a function of user distribution data and user behavior data, and computing an aggregate network metric for the dynamic hybrid network including throughput. A method for optimizing throughput of a dynamic hybrid network includes modeling a dynamic hybrid network, including a transmission supply of a mesh network of moving stations, modeling capacity demand as a function of user distribution data and user behavior data, and computing an aggregate network metric; then providing feedback to a controller and causing a change to a station in the network to increase throughput.
