When the portable electronic device is accommodated inside the expansion base, a touch window on the surface of the expansion base exposes at least a portion of the touch screen, and the portable electronic device executes the application program to automatically adjust a size or a display position of a display image of the touch screen to correspond to the touch window.

    Abstract: A system for developing a simulation of a process. In one aspect, a system creates a first model within the simulation. The first model represents a part of the process and comprises a first port to which other models may be connected. The system also creates a second model within the simulation. The second model represents another part of the process and comprises a second port to which other models may be connected. The system then connects the first port and the second port together. Upon connection, the system allocates a memory location as a connection variable that represents a type of information transfer between the first and second ports. A first port variable, which represents a value transferrable through the first port, is set to reference the value at the allocated memory location. Similarly, a second port variable, which represents a value transferrable through the second port, is also set to reference the value at the allocated memory location.

    Abstract: In a method for producing acetoin, butanediol, or butanol from ethanol according to the present invention, a cell-free catalysis method was used by designing an artificial synthetic pathway so that proteins of NOX, EtDH, FLS, BDH, and DDH and variant proteins thereof exhibit cascade catalytic activity as enzymes. Compared to existing fermentation methods using microorganisms, the production method according to the present invention does not require cell growth and has a short synthetic pathway, a fast reaction rate, high yield and productivity, adjustment of targeted reaction conditions is convenient, and butanol may be effectively produced. Moreover, same may be reused numerous times by fixing the proteins to nano-particles, and are also effective for producing acetoin, butanediol, or butanol, thus being economical. Therefore, the production method may be usefully adopted in the relevant industries requiring acetoin, butanediol, or butanol.

In accordance with one aspect, a UE may determine that a total number of PSCCH transmissions in a subframe is greater than a number of PSCCH transmissions that can be decoded within the subframe. Upon such a determination, the UE may select at least one PSCCH transmission in the subframe for decoding based on at least one of: retransmission information, information regarding a transmitting UE associated with the at least one PSCCH transmission, or scheduling priority history associated with a sub-channel carrying the at least one PSCCH transmission. The UE may then decode the at least one PSCCH transmission selected for decoding.
