    Abstract: The disclosure relates to microwave cavity plasma reactor (MCPR) apparatus and associated tuning and process control methods that enable the microwave plasma assisted chemical vapor deposition (MPACVD) of a component such as diamond. Related methods enable the control of the microwave discharge position, size and shape, and enable efficient matching of the incident microwave power into the reactor prior to and during component deposition. Pre-deposition tuning processes provide a well matched reactor exhibiting a high plasma reactor coupling efficiency over a wide range of operating conditions, thus allowing operational input parameters to be modified during deposition while simultaneously maintaining the reactor in a well-matched state.

    Abstract: For logical multicasting in overlay networks, at a data processing system, an original unicast packet is received from a first component in a first computing node in an overlay network. To cause multicasting in the overlay network the received original unicast packet was unicast by the first computing node only to the data processing system, and a multicast data structure for the overlay network is maintained only by the data processing system, the multicast data structure containing information of each receiver that is configured to receive unicast packets during logical multicasting in the overlay network. From a set of subscriber receivers in the multicast data structure, a subset of the subscriber receivers is selected. A copy of the original unicast packet is unicast to each subscriber receiver in the subset.

    Abstract: A method for evaluating load performance of a rotor/stator test coupon, advantageously within a sealable test chamber comprising test fluid. In some embodiments, the test coupon comprises at least a partial length of a PDM stage, and in others the test coupon comprises a splined rotor/stator. The method includes rotating either the rotor section or the stator section, wherein such rotation actuates corresponding rotation of the other of the rotor section and the stator section. A braking torque is applied to the actuated one of the rotor section and the stator section such that load performance of the test coupon may be evaluated. Embodiments include selectively applying non-linear torque to load the test coupon, and evaluating load performance of the test coupon with reference to relative angular positions of the rotor section and the stator section over time.

    Abstract: Method of constructing a vault of a large storage tank for liquefied natural gas by first modeling the vault with a 3-D modeling software application, then partially building the vault with a framework and a first set of covering panels fixed on the framework where the panels do not touch each other, but leave a number of gaps between them, measuring the dimensions of the actual gaps between the panels using a 3-D scanner, producing a second set of panels according to the scanned dimensional data, and finally filled the gaps between the first set of panels with the second set of panels, which are much smaller than the first set of panels, making the building process earlier and more accurate, which are difficult issues in building large tanks for liquefied natural gas.

    Abstract: A method for measuring load performance of a positive displacement motor (PDM) test coupon. The test coupon comprises a partial length of a PDM stage and is received inside a sealable test chamber. In some embodiments, the test coupon may be cut from a failed PDM stage. The test chamber is filled with test fluid. In some embodiments, the test fluid may be drilling fluid sampled from a live well. Rotation of the rotor on the test coupon actuates rotation of the stator. A braking torque is applied to the stator rotation, enabling evaluation of, for example, fatigue load performance of test coupon. Additional embodiments comprise the rotor axis and the stator axis being offset in order to simulate rotor/stator eccentricity in a full size PDM stage.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to graphene. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a method for continuously preparing thermally conductive graphene films. A graphite oxide containing 40-60 wt % of moisture is directly stripped at a high temperature; and then, procedures such as dispersion, defoaming, coating, stripping, trimming, and reduction are performed to prepare thermally conductive graphene films with high thermal conductivity coefficient and strong electromagnetic shielding effectiveness. In the method, because of directly stripping the graphite oxide containing 40-60 wt % of moisture at a high temperature, the procedure of drying the graphite oxide is omitted, achieving low energy consumption and low manufacturing costs. Compared with preparing slurry by directly dispersing the graphite oxide, the concentration of the slurry after high temperature stripping is higher, and can reach 3-20 wt %.

Therefore, without even having to provide additional memory or hard disk for storage, this disclosure dynamically optimizes the distribution status of the partitioned data according to access frequencies and characteristics of the partitioned data, thus reducing transmission bandwidth requirements among data centers.
