  • Patent number: 7808953
Abstract: A wireless communication, in which mobile and base stations setup uplink and downlink channels, and the mobile station transmits data flows. The base station interrupts transmission via the downlink setup with the mobile station in the predetermined transmission interruption time interval. The mobile station determines, in response to the data flow, packet transmission in a first transmission time interval for the predetermined time interval determined from the transmission interruption time interval or re-transmission of the packets transmitted in the first transmission time interval. The mobile station transmits packets in response to the determination. The base station transmits an arrival confirmation signal for the transmitted packets. The mobile station performs re-transmission in response to the arrival confirmation signal or to the determination.

  • Publication number: 20100189045
Abstract: A communication control method is provided which improves a wireless resource usage rate, is available to recognize a variation in wireless resource state in advance, and is available to control communication in accordance with the variation in a mobile communication system in which an MBMS and an HSDPA coexist and the same wireless resource is shared and used. A MAC-m transmits information related to a wireless resource used on an MBMS transport channel at a transmission timing of a base station to a MAC-hs before the transmission timing. The MAC-hs receives the information related to the wireless resource of the MBMS transport channel from the MAC-m. The MAC-hs calculates a wireless resource which can be used applied to data of a HSDPA transport channel at the transmission timing with using the information related to the wireless resource of the MBMS transport channel and a wireless resource to which the HSDPA transport channel is allocated.

  • Publication number: 20100128621
Abstract: A base station (2) receives paging information for a mobile station (8) from gateway device (1), transmits the paging information after changing the amount of the radio resource of a paging channel, and measures a statistic associated with the completion of communication processing including at least a response of the paging information. The base station (2) then calculates a reception error rate of the paging information, based on the statistic. When receiving the paging information, the mobile station (8) transmits a response signal to the base station (8).

  • Publication number: 20100128663
Abstract: When an RG received from a base station is UP, a mobile station compares E-TFC currently used by a HARQ process for transmitting a signal to the base station from the mobile station with E-TFC previously used for transmission by the same HARQ process. When they are identical, the accumulation information is incremented by one. When selecting E-TFC used for transmission, the HARQ process of the mobile station tales the accumulation information into consideration. Thus, when the accumulation is incremented, the HARQ process selects E-TFC of a level incremented by one and accordingly, the transfer rate of the mobile station is increased and the user throughput is improved.

  • Publication number: 20090201885
Abstract: The mobile station 2-1 determines whether a current maximum transmission rate is sufficient or not in a predetermined cycle by using a maximum transmission rate R indicated by a pointer, a volume Q of data accumulated in the buffer 22-1 and a requested delay T determined according to service of data. The mobile station 2-1 transmits a determination result as an RR signal in a predetermined control signal field within an uplink E-DPCH to the base station 1. The base station 1 receives an RR signal from the mobile station 2-1, determines an increment/decrement of the maximum transmission rate allowed for the mobile station 2-1 to use such that a noise rise fails to exceed a predetermined threshold value and notifies the mobile station 2-1 of the determination as an RG signal by a downlink E-DPCCH. The mobile station 2-1 ups or downs the position of the pointer according to the RG signal.
