Abstract: A stand for a fire extinguisher comprises four identical panels and a square plate. Each panel has a rectangular portion and an isosceles trapezoid-shaped portion. The isosceles trapezoid-shaped portion has only two sides of equal length. The four identical panels are interconnected along their equal-length sides to form a truncated square pyramid having a rectangular box at its upper end. The square plate is mounted inside of the rectangular box parallel to a base of the pyramid to support a fire extinguisher.

Abstract: The present application provides a proximity detection circuit and a proximity detection method with compensation. The proximity detection circuit comprises a detection circuit, a baseline processing circuit and a proximity sensing circuit. The detection circuit generates a detection data and a reference data. The proximity sensing circuit generates a proximity signal according to a proximity threshold, the detection data and a baseline data generated from the baseline processing circuit, and the proximity detection circuit and the proximity detection method compensate the baseline data or the proximity threshold according to the reference data. The condition of misjudgment may be avoided under the influence of environmental factors.

For the tool to operate at its maximum potential the firing pin guide should be pushed securely against the rear of the fastener and the tip of the fastener should be pushed securely against the substrate. The action of the operator pushing the tool forward to actuate the tool moves the trigger body forward while compressing the firing spring until the trigger body travels the exact distance needed to release the trigger ball. The trigger body must also be in optimal rotational orientation with the tool and means for accomplishing the alignment is disclosed.

Control of response range and/or rate in some embodiments also permits customization of sensor elements. In one variant, heterogeneous detector elements are used to, e.g., accommodate a wider range of blood glucose concentration within the host.

Abstract: Biocompatible implantable sensor apparatus and methods of implantation and use. In one embodiment, the sensor apparatus is an oxygen-based glucose sensor having biocompatibility features that mitigate the host tissue response. In one variant, these features include use of a non-enzymatic membrane over each of the individual analyte detectors so as to preclude contact of the surrounding tissue with the underlying enzyme or other matrix, and mitigate vascularization, and insulation of the various electrodes and associated electrolytic processes of the sensor from the surrounding tissue. In one implementation, the sensor region of the implanted apparatus is configured to interlock or imprint the surrounding tissue so as to promote a high degree of glucose molecule diffusion into the individual detectors, and a constant and predictable sensor to blood vessel interface, yet preclude the tissue from bonding to the sensor, especially over extended periods of implant.
