Publication number: 20250256052Abstract: The invention pertains to a wearable pressure-applying device designed for user comfort and convenience. The device features multiple securing mechanisms for attachment to the user, including adaptable closures such as zippers. A manual or mechanical engagement system allows the user to adjust the constriction of the device, applying pressure as desired. Notably, the closure mechanisms do not extend across the entire vertical length of the wearable device, enhancing flexibility and comfort. The constriction mechanism employs either threaded or stringed lacing methods, with separable connections for user attachment and removal. An ergonomically contoured handle, easily attachable and detachable via a coupler, enhances usability. Additionally, a cord lock mechanism ensures precise pressure control, with a quick-release feature for instant pressure relief. Modular attachment options for both mechanical and cord-lock mechanisms offer versatility.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2024Publication date: August 14, 2025Inventor: Dwight Joel Lee Koyner

Publication number: 20250220438Abstract: Various embodiments comprise a wireless communication network to perform slice-based security protocol selection for Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). In some examples, the wireless communication network comprises a Call Session Control Function (CSCF). The CSCF receives an IMS registration request transferred by a wireless user device, generates an authorization request that includes an Address Value Pair (AVP) requesting a slice Identifier (ID) for the wireless user device, and transfers the authorization request to a network data system. The CSCF receives an authorization response from the network data system that includes the slice ID for the wireless user device. The CSCF selects a security protocol for authenticating the wireless user device based on the slice ID. The CSCF transfers an authentication challenge for delivery to the wireless user device and establishes a secure communication channel with the wireless user device using the selected security protocol.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2024Publication date: July 3, 2025Inventors: Joel Lee Arends, Nassereddine Sabeur, Boris Antsev, Harikishore Allu Balan

Patent number: 12301669Abstract: Various embodiments comprise a wireless communication network to maintain multimedia sessions in response to bearer failure. In some examples, the wireless communication network comprises Call Session Control Function (CSCF) circuitry. The CSCF circuitry requests a dedicated bearer to serve a requested multimedia session in response to a multimedia session request for a user device received over a default bearer. The CSCF circuitry receives an error message that comprises an error code indicating the dedicated bearer could not be established. The CSCF circuitry determines when the default bearer can support the requested multimedia session based on the error code. The CSCF circuitry maintains the default bearer for the user device and establishes the requested multimedia session over the default bearer when the default bearer can support the requested multimedia session.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 2023Date of Patent: May 13, 2025Assignee: T-MOBILE INNOVATIONS LLCInventors: A. Publication number: 20240373384Abstract: Various embodiments comprise wireless communication networks to support slicing in an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) core. In some examples, the wireless communication network comprises a multimedia function and a network data system. The multimedia function receives a registration request indicating a User Equipment (UE) Identifier (ID). The multimedia function queries a network data system for UE subscription information. The network data system correlates the UE ID to slice information associated with a UE and indicates the slice information to the multimedia function. The multimedia function receives the slice information from the network data system and responsively caches the slice information in association with the UE ID.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 5, 2023Publication date: November 7, 2024Inventors: Nassereddine Sabeur, Joel Lee Arends, Saqib Badar

In some examples, the wireless communication network comprises multimedia functions and a subscriber server. A first multimedia function receives a registration request for a wireless user device, selects the subscriber server from a plurality of available subscriber servers, and transfers a user authorization request for the user device to the subscriber server. The subscriber server receives the user authorization request and transfers a response indicating a server Identifier (ID) for the subscriber server. The first multimedia function receives the response and indicates the server ID and the registration request to a second multimedia function. The second multimedia function receives the server ID and the registration request, selects the same subscriber server based on the server ID, and transfers a multimedia authorization request to the subscriber server.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2023Publication date: October 31, 2024Inventors: Nassereddine Sabeur, Saqib Badar, Joel Lee Arends, Jason Cataquis
