  • Patent number: 12126399
Abstract: Techniques are provided for detecting a fault across a pair of lines. Pulse power is applied across the pair of lines. The pulse power comprises alternating pulse on-time intervals and pulse off-time intervals. During a pulse off-time interval, a resistor is connected across the pair of lines and then disconnected when a voltage across the pair of lines reaches a first droop percentage in a first period of time. After disconnecting the resistor, it is determined whether the voltage across the pair of lines droops at least a second droop percentage within a second period of time that begins after the first period of time. Occurrence of a line-to-line fault across the pair of lines is determined when the voltage across the pair of lines droops by at least the second droop percentage or more within the second period of time.

  • Publication number: 20240345180
Abstract: Presented herein is a method comprising: determining skew values of cables, each skew value indicating a time of signal propagation along a respective cable at a respective signal frequency value, and the skew values being frequency dependent and varying at signal frequency values; determining skew behavior property values for each cable based on the skew values; determining a performance metric value for each skew behavior property value; determining a relationship between the skew values and the signal frequency values at each performance metric value based on the performance metric value for each skew behavior property value; and coupling a first electronic component and a second electronic component to one another using a new cable based on the relationship between the skew values and the signal frequency values at each performance metric value.

  • Patent number: 12117904
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for conducting continuous changelog-based replication of modifications made to a file system to a target storage system. An export system can monitor a changelog on a file system to detect changes made to the file system. The exporter system can further filter and reformat the changes for replication to the target storage system by storing the changes in a pending changes data store. To reduce duplicative traffic, the export system can store changes for a configurable delay period, writing all pending changes to a file system object after the delay while aggregating and deduplicating the changes, thus improving performance relative to immediate replication.

  • Patent number: 12119028
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for identifying candidate boundaries for video segments, video segment selection using those boundaries, and text-based video editing of video segments selected via transcript interactions. In an example implementation, boundaries of detected sentences and words are extracted from a transcript, the boundaries are retimed into an adjacent speech gap to a location where voice or audio activity is a minimum, and the resulting boundaries are stored as candidate boundaries for video segments. As such, a transcript interface presents the transcript, interprets input selecting transcript text as an instruction to select a video segment with corresponding boundaries selected from the candidate boundaries, and interprets commands that are traditionally thought of as text-based operations (e.g., cut, copy, paste) as an instruction to perform a corresponding video editing operation using the selected video segment.
