  • Publication number: 20230184183
Abstract: A method for checking the association of structure-borne noise sensors of an internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders, which internal combustion engine can be operated in diesel operation or with individualized gas injection and in the case of which internal combustion engine a structure-borne noise sensor is arranged in the region of each cylinder, wherein the output signals of the structure-borne noise sensors reflect a knock index and are captured by a computing unit, wherein the internal combustion engine is operated in order to perform the method. The output signals of all structure-borne noise sensors are determined during at least one working cycle, which is formed by two revolutions of a crankshaft, in the respective positions of the crankshaft. The output signal of a cylinder is compared with the average value or the median value of the output signals of other cylinders.

  • Publication number: 20220153565
Abstract: A system and method for filling liquid products into bottles are described. The system comprises a machine block with a blow-molding machine for providing a flow of bottles, with a labeler for labeling the flow of bottles, with a first and second transport stretch, each comprising a filler for filling the bottles, and with a distribution unit dividing the labeled flow of bottles to the transport stretches when the transport is fully populated at all circulating labeling positions of the labeler and all circulating filling positions of the fillers. The filling system comprises outflow conveyors downstream of the fillers, with a combining device for combining the transport stretches to form a common outflow for the flow of bottles, thereby reducing the transport speed during filling and subsequent handling of the bottles, as well as problems due to the product in the bottles spilling over during the closure process.

  • Patent number: 11135680
Abstract: Methods and computer-readable media for producing at least one portion of a layer of a three-dimensional component by irradiating at least one powder layer by at least one high-energy beam, e.g., a laser beam are disclosed. The methods include irradiating the powder layer by the at least one high-energy beam in a processing field, wherein the at least one high-energy beam is moved in a continuous oscillating movement over the powder layer in a first direction to produce a line-shaped irradiation region in which the powder layer is melted, and wherein the line-shaped irradiation region is moved over the powder layer in a second direction that differs from the first to produce the portion of the layer of the three-dimensional component.

  • Patent number: 11010502
Abstract: A method for generating a sectional view of a body of a vehicle includes displaying a first sectional view of the vehicle body on a screen, where the first sectional view comprises two surfaces of two components of the vehicle body which adjoin one another at a first transition point. The method includes displaying a joint catalog with a plurality of predefined joint types, where one joint type of the plurality of predefined joint types defines a predefined joint section for a joint between two surfaces. The method also includes detecting a selection of a first joint type from the joint catalog, and automatically inserting the predefined joint section for the first joint type at the first transition point into the first sectional view displayed on the screen, with the result that the surfaces of the two components are connected to one another at the first transition point by the joint section.
