  • Patent number: 11837050
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of in-play wagering for pooled or contest prizes by points in which users are placed in various cohorts based on skill and then allowed to compete against one another in a contest for a prize that is won by the user with the total amount of points earned during a contest. This method provides grouping the users of a wagering network into cohorts and allowing the users to join a contest based on the cohort to compete for a prize that the user with the most points wins during the length of the contest.

  • Publication number: 20230385758
Abstract: Copies of a distributed ledger with multiple blocks are stored on multiple computing devices. A first computing device coming into proximity with a particular object triggers generation of a new block to the distributed ledger, the new block identifying changes to an inventory of objects of the object type and including a hash of a previous block of the distributed ledger. The new block is optionally verified before it is appended onto the distributed ledger and transmitted out to each of the multiple computing devices so that each copy of the distributed ledger includes the new block.

  • Publication number: 20230386301
Abstract: A system for peer-to-peer wagering on outcomes of a live sporting event. Users can select from a set of available wagers and set their own odds and terms, other users can then accept those odds and terms. The system may hold all involved user's money or credit in an escrow account until the actual outcome of the subject of the wager has been determined. Then the system handles the settlement of the wager, either directly or by communicating with a third party.

  • Publication number: 20230371886
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing real-time analysis of bone tissue during a surgical procedure are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the method includes receiving at least one measurement of at least one tissue sample from a hybrid multi-wavelength photoacoustic measurements (MWPM) component. The method can also include identifying one or more reference cases, from a plurality of reference cases, based on correlations between the at least one measurement and previous measurements in each of the plurality of reference cases. Once the reference cases are identified, the method can include determining at least one bone condition of the patient and sending the at least one determined bone condition to a computing device accessible by a surgeon. In some embodiments, the method also includes creating a three-dimensional (3D) map the tissue sample using the at least one measurement and sending the 3D map to the computing device.

  • Patent number: 11822561
Abstract: A method of optimizing an EOU search by increasing the number of sources searched by a predetermined variable and notifying the user of the optimal search results. For example, the EOU tool may search 5-20 pages in 5 page increments and compare the results of the various searches to determine which one provides the best results. Based on the results of the searches the EOU tool can send a notification to the user such as “increasing the search results by 10 pages will improve EOU results”.

  • Publication number: 20230368887
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for edge computing for robotic telesurgery using artificial intelligence are disclosed. A robotic surgical system includes surgery equipment and can communicate via a cloud network. The system can include operation room (OR) equipment and a surgical computer. The surgical computer transfers data between a remote surgeon, the OR equipment, and the surgery equipment. The surgical computer receives, using the OR equipment and the surgery equipment, data related to a surgical procedure. The data is related to the surgical procedure and is computed using artificial intelligence (AI). The surgical computer determines a risk assessment based on data related to the surgery equipment. The surgical computer sends an indication of the determined risk assessment to the remote surgeon.

  • Publication number: 20230368904
Abstract: Monitoring devices monitor physiological parameters of a patient undergoing surgery. The physiological parameters describe a physiological condition of the patient. A processor matches the physiological parameters to stored surgical data associated with adverse surgical events associated with surgical procedures matching the surgery. The processor determines a predicted time at which the physiological condition of the patient will meet a threshold physiological condition associated with the adverse surgical event based on a rate of change of the physiological parameters. Responsive to determining the predicted time, the processor transmits a first alert to robotic surgical controls to adjust the surgery prior to the predicted time. The processor determines that the physiological condition of the patient has met the threshold physiological condition. The processor transmits a second alert to the robotic surgical controls to terminate the surgery.

  • Patent number: 11809679
Abstract: A virtual reality network provides access to a number of virtual reality representations, each virtual reality representation representing a location in a virtual universe and defined by VR data stored on the network. The VR data can be in a simplified data format and include data from an intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator (IPAKN). A database stores the network address and the location in the universe of each virtual reality representation. A database server provides access to the database. The database server generates a list of locations in response to a location query from a visitor, and provides the network address of the virtual reality representation of a selected location. A visitor connects to the database server with a client host to visit the locations in the virtual universe.

  • Publication number: 20230351860
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method to determine if a user had placed a wager and verify that the wager was placed before the wagering market closed in a play-by-play wagering network. This method provides the ability to receive a wager from a user and allows the wagering network to receive a timestamp from the user's device to determine if the wager was placed before the market closing. Also, this method provides the ability to verify that there is no fraud, malicious activity, or cheating from the user by verifying that through a 3rd party network, such as the user's network connecting the user to the internet, that the timestamps provided by the network are correct and allowing the user to confirm their wager if received a few moments after the market has closed.

  • Publication number: 20230346477
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for providing real-time surgical assistance to a surgical robot using an imaging module, a context computer module, and a quantum analysis module are disclosed. The imaging module receives one or more data related to a patient from an intra-operative database and performs a first step analysis based on the received data. The context computer module determines a type of resource required for analysis based on data received from a historical database and the intra-operative database. The quantum analysis module receives data from the imaging module and the context computer module. The quantum analysis module receives real-time data from operation room (OR) equipment and performs quantum analysis on the received data and real-time data. The quantum analysis module facilitates real-time surgical assistance and recommendations to the surgical robot.

  • Patent number: 11801104
Abstract: Robotic system and method are described for performing latency managed telesurgery. The system comprises drone(s) to create a wireless network in one or more geographic areas between a surgical site and a remote surgeon. The system further comprises a computer that is configured to: receive a request that indicates that a telesurgery is to be performed between the first location and the second location at a scheduled time; determine that one or more equipment is available for use at the surgical site for the telesurgery at the scheduled time; send a first instruction that triggers measurement of a latency of the wireless network; determine, during the telesurgery, whether the latency of the wireless network is acceptable; and send a first message that indicates that the latency is not acceptable, where an operation of the drone(s) is adjusted or an additional drone is deployed in the one or more geographic areas.

  • Publication number: 20230338099
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for edge computing in surgical robotics is provided. The system comprises a surgical robot communicatively coupled to a 3rd party operating room equipment system over a cloud network. The surgical robot includes an operating room hardware configured to perform a surgical procedure on a patient. A memory is communicatively coupled to operating room hardware and user interface, and the memory comprises an equipment database and a threshold database to store parameters related to the operating room hardware. A processor, coupled to the operating room hardware via the network interface, is configured to establish a connection between the surgical robot and the 3rd party operating room equipment system, and monitor events being performed by the operating room and then store the monitored data within the threshold database. The threshold database stores trigger values for each piece of equipment for taking actions, based on data collected by sensors.

  • Patent number: 11798355
Abstract: A system for wagering on outcomes of a live sporting event during a specific time window. The system estimates the duration of the time window based on historical data. The window then either closes at the end of the estimated duration or when the subject of the wager has occurred or is about to occur such that users cannot place wagers on an outcome that has already occurred. The estimated duration of the time window may be based on a statistical average of similar plays or may be determined by an artificial intelligence based algorithm or module.
