  • Publication number: 20240077106
Abstract: A mechanical assembly includes an inner member, an outer member disposed about the inner member, a bearing inner ring, a bearing outer ring and a plurality of balls disposed between the two rings. The inner member has an outer circumferential surface with an outside diameter, which has a tolerance of greater than +/?0.00125?. The outer member has an inner circumferential surface with an inside diameter, which has a tolerance of greater than +/?0.002?. The inner ring has an annular groove with an inside diameter and the outer ring has an annular groove with an outside diameter. The balls are disposed within the two grooves and has a diameter sized such that the sum of twice the diameter plus the inside diameter of the inner ring groove is greater than the outside diameter of the outer ring groove, thereby establishing an internal preload in the bearing.

  • Publication number: 20240046221
Abstract: A computer implemented method for scheduling a meeting includes receiving a set of input parameters as meeting constraints. The meeting input parameters include a meeting organizer attendee identifier and multiple additional meeting attendee identifiers, a duration of the meeting, and a time frame within which to schedule the meeting. Calendar data is accessed from one or more servers storing calendar data corresponding to the organizer attendee and the meeting attendees based on the respective identifiers. The accessed calendar data is processed against the received set of input parameters to identify candidate meetings. In response to no candidate meeting matching all the input parameters, at least one parameter is automatically adjusted, and new candidate meetings are identified. Candidate meeting suggestions are communicated to a meeting organizer.

  • Patent number: 10556267
Abstract: A die is supported in a die holder such as a frame or an adapter supported in a frame such that it is operational use in a material deforming operation. One or both of the die and the die holder have at least one gas passage which is substantially closed by at least part of the die. Gas such as pressurised air is directed into an end of the gas passage opposite the die via a hose connected to a gas source. If the die is broken or loose leak paths are available for the escape of gas past the die to or from atmosphere. A pressure sensor connected to the hose detects the change in pressure of the gas and the magnitude of that pressure is used to determine the die condition. Alternatively a flow rate sensor is used to detect a change in the flow rate of the gas in order to determine the condition of the die.
