  • Publication number: 20160121721
Abstract: A working machine comprising: a ground engaging structure with a first and second axle, each mounting two wheels; a body supported on the ground engaging structure, a working arm mounted to the body; and a drive arrangement for moving the ground engaging structure to propel the working machine, the drive arrangement including a prime mover and transmission. The transmission comprises a hydraulic pump driven by the prime mover, a first high speed hydraulic motor to drive the first axle to permit the working machine to be drive at relatively high speeds in a first two-wheel drive operating mode, and a second low speed motor a first high speed hydraulic motor to be supplied with hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic pump to drive the second axle at relatively low speeds and configured to be driven in conjunction with the first motor in a second four-wheel drive operating mode.

  • Publication number: 20160085991
Abstract: A persona-notitia intellection codifier (P-NIC) server intelligently codifies and disburses personal user information from a user device (smartphone, laptop, etc.) to a multiplicity of designee devices. Masking Persona-Notitia Intellection Codes (a.k.a. PICs) are created that each stipulate control(s) and parametric limitation(s) for the associated one of a variety of personal user information. The Persona-Notitia Intellection Codifier (P-NIC) server rapidly produces a mask comprising a multiple bit “key” value (i.e., a persona-notitia intellection code (PIC)) that is uniquely distinguishable from every other PIC that's ever been generated for a given user. The value of the PIC is typically many bytes in length, and associates attributes to a unique key value that describes a desired subset of all the user's available personal user information to be unlocked by the key value (i.e., by the PIC).

  • Publication number: 20160040951
Abstract: The “DISC LAUNCHING MECHANISM AND METHOD” was originally invented due to common flaws seen in most youth baseball/softball swings which is an inadequate grip and rolling the top hand over too soon which causes the bat to jump off the intended swing path and ultimately leads to a miss or inaccurate strike. With the present invention, that would equate to poor disc flight. The axe-shaped handle naturally promotes a proper baseball/softball grip. Incorporating a disc, resting on a flat shaft and anchored with spring holding mechanisms and using a tacky surface under the back of the disc to create drag, allows the disc to be held in place until the proper speed and swing-angle are reached. In testing the present invention, it was observed that it could be used for any disc launching entertainment such as disc golf or disc home run derby.

  • Publication number: 20160035008
Abstract: A customer is allowed to select vehicle services prior to visiting a service center. A customer can access a website or mobile application to provide input identifying a vehicle to be serviced. A number of possible services that can be performed on the identified vehicle can then be presented including, in some cases, an estimated cost for such services. The customer may then select one or more services to be performed. In response, the website or mobile application can generate a purchase order that the customer can present to a technician once arriving at the service center thereby allowing the technician to commence work immediately on the vehicle. A vehicle may also be automatically enrolled in a warranty program. The actions required to comply with the warranty program as well as estimated dates when the actions should be performed can be automatically determined.

  • Publication number: 20150336641
Abstract: A structure, such as a fin or water sports board, including a core having opposed first and second core outer surfaces. The structure further includes first and second fiber sheets, wherein the first fiber sheet extends along the first core outer surface and the second fiber sheet extends along the second core outer surface. A thermoplastic material impregnates the first fiber sheet and the second fiber sheet and bonds the first fiber sheet and the second fiber sheet to the core. The thermoplastic material defines an outer surface of the structure.

  • Publication number: 20150324885
Abstract: Service options that can be performed on a vehicle can be presented to the customer using a model of the vehicle. The model can be customized to include visual indications of the services that are recommended and then displayed to the customer so that the customer can quickly and easily identify which services are recommended. As a technician inspects a vehicle, he may use a first computing device, which displays available services for the vehicle, to input the services that are recommended for the vehicle. The customized model can then be generated using the recommended services and displayed on a second computing device to the customer. The customer can select services to be performed by interacting with the customized model. Then, these selections can be transmitted back to the first computing device for display to the technician to allow the technician to commence performing the selected services.

  • Publication number: 20150282796
Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided for surgical and interventional planning, support, post-operative follow-up, and functional recovery tracking. In general, a patient can be tracked throughout medical treatment including through initial onset of symptoms, diagnosis, non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment, and recovery from the surgical treatment. In one embodiment, a patient and one or more medical professionals involved with treating the patient can electronically access a comprehensive treatment planning, support, and review system. The system can provide recommendations regarding diagnosis, non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment, and recovery from the surgical treatment based on data gathered from the patient and the medical professional(s).

  • Publication number: 20150282797
Abstract: An expandable trial can include an inferior portion, a superior portion, and a middle expanding portion as well as load cells for monitoring the load on the trial. The trial may also include recesses on its lateral sides to provide spacing to accommodate a disc removal tool so tissue can be cleared monitoring load. In addition, neural foramen spacing can be monitoring to provide information about how much neural release has been achieved as the disc is cleaned and the spine is positioned and repositioned.

  • Publication number: 20150225044
Abstract: A fin for a water sports board including leading and trailing edges, and a base extending therebetween along a longitudinal base axis. A fin axis extends generally perpendicular to the longitudinal base axis, both axes residing within a longitudinal plane. First and second opposed side faces are formed on generally opposed sides of the longitudinal plane. First and second insert pre-preg sheets formed of structural strands bonded by a resin material are disposed adjacent respective ones of the first and second side faces on generally opposed sides of the longitudinal plane. An injection molded resin material is disposed between the first and second insert pre-preg sheets. A core is positioned between the first and second insert pre-preg sheets and is of a density less than the injection molded resin material.

  • Patent number: 8924334
Abstract: A system (1) comprises a physical surgical simulator (11) which transmits data concerning physical movement of training devices to an analysis engine (12). The engine (12) automatically generates rules for a rule base (13a) in a learning system (13). The learning system (13) also comprises content objects (13b) and 3D scenario objects (13c). A linked set of a 3D scenario object (13c), a rule base (13a), and a content object (13b) are together a lesson (10). Another simulator (14) is operated by a student. This transmits data concerning physical movement of training devices by a student to a verification engine (15). The verification engine (15) interfaces with the rule base (13a) to display the lesson in the manner defined by the lesson rule base (13a). It calculates performance measures defined in the lesson rule base (13a). It also records the performance measures into a lesson record (18) and it adapts the display of the lesson in line with the parameters defined in the lesson rule base (13a).

  • Patent number: 8825679
Abstract: Architecture that facilitates the discovery of interesting and relevant content by a user in a serendipitous way on a microblogging site. For example, relevant content can be defined as connected to the user, the user's work, and user interests, while interesting content can be defined as content that does not directly affect the user, yet the user chooses to obtain (e.g., for viewing, interacting, etc.). The content can be presented as a tile cluster, where each tile is a specific content type (e.g., image, link, post, user recommendations, tags, etc.). Additionally, the content can be obtained and presented relative to a specific temporal setting such as the latest content. The different content types are visually distinguished such that one type of content looks and behaves differently from another content type. The user can also drill into content details from the top content.
