  • Publication number: 20210228777
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for applying a bioactive coating to an exterior surface of an implant are disclosed. In some embodiments, the bioactive coating may be applied to the surfaces of the implant within the operating room at the time of implantation. In one embodiment, the implant may be a temporary spacer used to temporary replace an implant in a patient suffering from an infection. The temporary spacer being, for example, an antibacterial material for fighting the infection. In some embodiments, the method includes providing a mold of the implant, and providing the bioactive coating within the mold. The method may further include inserting the implant into the mold so that the exterior surface of the implant contacts the bioactive coating, and then removing the implant from the mold.

  • Patent number: 10853096
Abstract: Embodiments include a code loader method for loading attributes corresponding to an isolated method by a container-based language runtime. The attributes are received by the container-based language runtime without any specified container for storage of the isolated method attributes. The attributes received as parameters of code loader method and include instructions, live objects, and parameter types corresponding to the isolated method. The container-based language runtime selects a first-order container for storing the attributes of the isolated method.

  • Publication number: 20180333588
Abstract: In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a catheter having a catheter body, a light emitter disposed at a distal end of the catheter body, and a fluid conduit coupleable to a source of fluid. The fluid conduit configured to discharge fluid from the source via the conduit and out a distal end of the catheter body. A spacing member is disposed at the distal end of the catheter body and can be moved between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. In the expanded configuration, the spacing member is disposed about the light emitter. The spacing member is at least partially transmissive and/or transflective of light emitted from the light emitter. • Patent number: 9893940
Abstract: The following description is directed to topologically aware network device configuration. In one example, components to be configured within a network can be mapped to one or more redundancy groups within a network topology of the network. The components to be configured can be selectively configured within the network so that network traffic continues during the configuration. Selectively configuring the components can include choosing an order to configure the components based on configuration rules and the mapping of the components to the one or more redundancy groups.
