  • Publication number: 20250138555
Abstract: A system for controlling the operation of a refuse collection vehicle includes at least one first sensor coupled to the vehicle to detect objects during an approach, at least one second sensor to detect the vehicle's position during the approach, and one or more processors. The processors receive object data from the first sensor and positional data from the second sensor, and use this information to identify a refuse container. Upon identifying the refuse container, the processors transmit a first instruction to the vehicle's control system to adjust operating parameters during the approach.

  • Publication number: 20250135652
Abstract: A refuse vehicle includes a body, a hopper, a robotic arm implement, multiple cameras, and processing circuitry. The body defines a pair of refuse compartments. The hopper receives refuse and direct the refuse into one of the pair of refuse compartments. The cameras are positioned at the hopper. The processing circuitry obtains image data of the hopper from the cameras. The processing circuitry detects an object to be separated from other refuse in the hopper based on the image data. The processing circuitry is also configured to operate the robotic arm implement to move the object from a first part of the hopper to a second part of the hopper for storage in one of the pair of refuse compartments separate from other refuse. The processing circuitry may be configured to obtain at least part of the image data from a camera positioned within a customer's refuse container.

  • Patent number: 12272169
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium for estimating the shape, size, mass, and health of fish are described. A pair of stereo cameras may be utilized to obtain off-axis images of fish in a defined area. The images may be processed, enhanced, and combined. Object detection may be used to detect and track a fish in images. A pose estimator may be used to determine key points and features of the detected fish. Based on the key points, a model of the fish is generated that provides an estimate of the size and shape of the fish. A regression model or neural network model can be applied to the fish model to determine characteristics of the fish.

  • Patent number: 12244893
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for efficiently “catching-up” a user that is interested in a media asset when that user has missed a portion of the media asset while consuming the media asset together with other people. The system may detect that multiple people are consuming a media asset and may determine, based on a respective profile of each person, whether that person is interested in the media asset. When the system detects that the user is disregarding the media asset, the missed portion of the media asset is stored if the user is interested in the media asset, and is not stored if the user is not interested in the media asset.

  • Patent number: 12231726
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for transferring an interactive feature from a first device to a second device. Two users may be consuming a media asset. Upon receipt of a command to active an interactive feature, a determination is made whether a user who did not activate the interactive feature is interested in the media asset. Upon that determination, a timer is activated that tracks an amount of time for which the interactive feature is active and a determination is made whether a threshold time period has been met. Once the threshold time period is met, a device associated with the user that activated the interactive feature is identified and the users are prompted to transfer the interactive feature to the device.

  • Publication number: 20250054075
Abstract: A nondestructive data pipeline to execute convergence based agricultural actions is provided. A system receives, for storage in a buffer, raw data from a plurality of data feeds that are indicative of performance of agriculture on a farm. The system tags, prior to execution of a data translation process, the raw data with a plurality of identifiers. The system executes, with the raw data maintained in the buffer, the data translation process to map the raw data from a first one or more shapes into a second shape to generate a normalized data set. The system determines, responsive to detection of the error, an identifier tagged to a portion of the raw data in the buffer that corresponds to the portion of the normalized data set with the error. The system updates the normalized data set to remove the error.
