  • Patent number: 11963703
Abstract: A bone cutting guide may include a support that contains a shaft movable relative to the support. The shaft may carry a guide member having one or more cut guides through which a clinician inserts a cutting member to cut bone positioned under the guide cut guides. In operation, a clinician may fixate the support of the bone cutting guide to a bone and translate the guide member until the one or more cut guides are positioned at a desired cut location. The clinician may then perform a cut through the cut guide.

  • Patent number: 11950819
Abstract: A bone positioning guide may include a main body member, a shaft, and a bone engagement member. The shaft can be movably connected to the main body member and have the bone engagement member rotatably coupled to its distal end. The bone engagement member can have a surface configured to engage a bone. The main body member can also include a tip opposite the bone engagement member for engaging a second bone. In use, the bone engagement member may be positioned in contact with a medial side of a first metatarsal while the tip is positioned in contact with a lateral side of a different metatarsal, such as a second metatarsal. The shaft can then be moved to advance the bone engagement member toward the tip, causing realignment of the first metatarsal.

  • Publication number: 20230259719
Abstract: A user’s computing device (such as a smartphone) runs an application whereby the user can connect with nearby bystanders who may speak different languages. Upon establishing a connection with the bystander, the user can enter a message in the user’s primary language. The message is translated to the primary languages of the bystanders, and each such translated message is also back-translated into the user’s primary language for review and editing. The back-translated message(s) allow the user to discern possible issues with the original message that may cause misunderstandings with the bystanders. Subsequent editing of the original and/ or back-translated messages results in updates to all of the original, translated, and back-translated messages, and upon the user’s approval, the translated messages are sent to the bystanders, who may respond via their devices in the same manner as the user.

  • Patent number: 11700208
Abstract: The technologies described herein are generally directed toward shedding processing loads associated with route updates. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor and a memory that can enable operations facilitating performance of operations including facilitating receiving, from a second routing device via a network, a communication. The operations can further comprise, in response to a queueing delay being determined to be less than a threshold, queueing, in the queue, the communication for a third routing device selected according to a first selection process as being on a route to a destination routing device for the communication. Further, operations to, in response to the queueing delay of the queue being determined to be equal to or above the threshold, transmit the communication to a fourth routing device, with the fourth routing device being selected according to a second selection process different than the first selection process.
