  • Patent number: 12644981
Abstract: A system and method for satellite imaging are provided. The system includes a first satellite, a trailing satellite, and a ground terminal. The first satellite acquires synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image data in a first predetermined signal frequency band at a first imaging location and transmits the SAR image data to a ground terminal. The ground terminal determines a second imaging location from the SAR image data and transmits the second imaging location to the trailing satellite. The trailing satellite acquires higher resolution image data in a second predetermined signal frequency band at the second imaging location and transmits the image data to the ground terminal. Systems and methods for satellite imaging are also provided in which a first satellite captures image data and processes the image data onboard to generate a processed product which is transmitted to a receiving terminal at a ground terminal or on a second satellite.

  • Patent number: 12598308
Abstract: Techniques and systems for adaptive optimization of clusters for bitrate prediction are disclosed. In some embodiments, such techniques may include extracting, in real-time, features from content segments of a video stream; identifying superclusters representing optimal bitrates for the content segments of the live video stream based on a mapping of the features to superclusters generated by one or more trained machine learning models, the identified superclusters configured to maintain a quality level associated with the content segments; assigning a subcluster between the identified superclusters; and applying bitrates associated with the identified superclusters and the subcluster to the video stream.

  • Patent number: 12555055
Abstract: An orchestration system of or otherwise available to a web platform centralizes the execution of workflow components of a workflow associated with a job posting hosted by the web platform using various software services internal and/or external to the web platform. The workflow components and attributes thereof are determined based on the job posting. Domain-specific language (DSL) instructions for the various workflow components are generated. First DSL instructions are invoked by the orchestration system to cause an execution of a first workflow component of the workflow by a first software service. The orchestration system obtains an output of the first workflow component, such as values of relevant attributes, and, based on the output and in some cases information derived other than from the first workflow component, invokes next DSL instructions to cause an execution of a next workflow component of the workflow by another software service.

  • Patent number: 12506877
Abstract: Techniques and systems for adaptive bitrate optimization for live content delivery are disclosed. In some embodiments, such techniques may include extracting, in real-time, features from content segments of a video stream; for each content segment of the video stream, identifying a rate-distortion (RD) cluster from a mapping of extracted features to RD clusters using one or more trained machine learning models; and transcoding the video stream by applying, to the content segments, a transcoding ladder having bitrate information corresponding to each identified RD cluster.

  • Publication number: 20250211234
Abstract: An optical circuit includes a resonator including a nonlinear optical material having intensity-dependent absorption, an input, and an output. The optical circuit includes an optical input path coupled to the input of the resonator and provides an optical logic input, an optical reference path coherently coupled to the resonator and configured to provide a first reference signal coupled to the optical input path and a second reference signal, and an optical output path coupled to the output of the resonator and configured to receive the second reference signal. The resonator receives a combined version of the optical logic input and the first reference signal, and provides an optical output signal based on the optical logic input, the first reference signal, and an intensity threshold of the nonlinear optical material. The optical output path provides an optical logic output corresponding to an output logic state based on the optical output signal and the second reference signal.
