    Abstract: A system and methods for the automated generation of individual transition plans while maintaining a knowledge base that is accessible by all participating individuals as the plan is executed and managed. A computer database receives a student's post school goals, receives the student's present levels of performance, determines the student's transition services needed to achieve the post school goals, and generates an individual transition plan. The individual transition plan is also periodically updated upon any changes in the individual's present levels of performance. The system is accessible by an internet site for individuals participating in the individual transition plan to permit information in the system to be exchanged with and between authorized users. The system may also include security that permits access to certain areas of the system by authorized users.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a spring fastener, which comprises engagement springs in opposite sides of the fastener. Each engagement spring has an engagement region comprising a hindrance portion, which increases considerably the removal to insertion force ratio as compared to such ratio in the absence of the hindrance portion, thus permitting very easy insertion with considerably more difficult removal of the fastener from the slot of a panel, which provides an efficient ergonomically balanced removal to insertion force ratio. The hindrance portion comprises ripples or other hindrance elements of unexpectedly minute dimensions for providing this efficient ergonomic force balance.

    Abstract: A shunt trip assembly having a tripping solenoid and a locking solenoid selectively blocks movement of the tripping solenoid to prevent inappropriate tripping of a circuit breaker during shock loading thereof. The tripping solenoid includes a tripping plunger that is longitudinally translatable along a tripping path to operatively engage a trip button of the circuit breaker. The locking solenoid includes a locking plunger that is selectively translatable along a locking path to selectively block movement of the tripping plunger, the locking path being substantially perpendicular to the tripping path. A longitudinally-facing first abutment surface on the tripping plunger is engaged by the locking plunger to prevent inappropriate movement of the tripping plunger during shock loading. A peripherally-disposed second abutment surface on the tripping plunger prevents misconfiguration of the shunt trip assembly after the shunt trip assembly has been deenergized.

    Abstract: A shock resistant under-voltage release mechanism for a circuit breaker includes a magnetic tripping device resiliently mounted onto a mounting bracket with one or more resilient mounts. The magnetic tripping device includes a plunger that selectively engages a trip button of the circuit breaker when the voltage supplied to a coil of the magnetic tripping device drops below a given preset limit voltage. The resilient mounts each include first and second flanges, with a hub extending between the first and second flanges. The resilient mount is mounted on the mounting bracket of the under-voltage release mechanism such that the hub is disposed against a mounting hole formed in the mounting bracket, and the first and second flanges are disposed against the opposite faces of the mounting bracket. A fastener is slidingly received through an opening formed in each resilient mount and is attached onto an attachment hole formed on a coil frame of the magnetic tripping device.

    Abstract: An inserter for the positioning of an intrauterine device in the uterus, which inserter includes a plunger, a handle attached to the plunger, a string for the removal of the IUD, a locking device to lock the string in such a way that the IUD remains immobile in relation to the plunger, and a protective tube around the plunger. The protective tube is arranged in relation to the plunger in such a way that it can be pushed, at the forward end that goes into the uterus, past the plunger at distance (L) , which corresponds substantially to the length of the IUD assembled for insertion. The stop members ensure that the front edge of the protective tube is stopped in a configuration in which the hemispherical tips of the wings of the transverse member of a T-shaped IUD remain partly uncovered by the protective tube, but the wings nevertheless remain pressed against each other.

    Abstract: The invention presents an easy to use anchor for safety cables which can be attached to the framing of the floor as it is built, and removed and re-used after the floor is completed. The anchor has lower and upper plates separated by a spacer the thickness of an I-beam cross-plate. The anchor clamps between two adjacent beams, with the upper and lower plates sliding around the top plate of the I-beam and being fastened firmly with setscrews in the lower plate. Eye bolts screw into the anchor plate to provide a tie-off spot for cables. The thickness of the anchor plate over the deck support beams is such that the top of the anchor plate is flush with the surface of the plywood decking over which the concrete will be poured. In use, the anchor is slid into the desired location between the top plates of two deck support I-beams and screwed tightly into place using the setscrews in the lower plate of the anchor.

    Abstract: A holster for game calls which can be fastened around the stock of a gun or of a bow. The holster has an elongated body made of flexible material, with a plurality of pockets formed on one side. The pockets are preferably formed so as to open toward the center of the elongated body. A fastener, such as hook-and-loop material (Velcro.RTM.) allows the elongated body to be wrapped around the gunstock and the ends fastened to each other, so as to form a sleeve around the stock with pockets on the outside. If the pockets are formed to open toward the center of the elongated body, they will open upwards when the holster is fastened around the generally horizontal gunstock. Game calls can be inserted into the pockets, and removed easily without removing the gun from the shoulder of the hunter and without startling the game. A bow-hunting variation has the pockets turned 90.degree.

    Abstract: Aqueous hydrogen peroxide solutions containing (1) an organophosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of alkylidene diphosphonic acids, aminotri(methylenephosphonic acid), ethylenediaminetetra(methylenephosphonic acid), and soluble alkali metal salts of the foregoing acids an (2) and organic hydroxy compound selected from allyl alcohol, methallyl alcohol, phenol, o-chlorophenol, o-nitrophenol, o-aminophenol, p-chlorophenol, p-nitrophenol, p-aminophenol, and mixtures thereof are stable during use over a pH range of about 0.5 to 10 against catalytic decomposition by heavy metal ions and by surfaces of insoluble heavy metal sulfides. The stabilizer combinations of this invention are apparently synergistic and give unexpected hydrogen peroxide stability. The stabilized hydrogen peroxide solutions of the invention are especially useful in hydrometallurgical processes and in mineral separations and purifications.
