  • Publication number: 20220312425
Abstract: A system described herein may provide for the use of artificial intelligence/machine learning (“AI/ML”) techniques to generate models for various locations or regions (e.g., sectors) associated with one or more radio access networks (“RANs”) of a wireless network. The system may further use AI/ML techniques to generate interference models to reflect types and/or amounts of radio frequency (“RF”) interference measured within the RAN. The system may further determine, based on received RF metrics for a given sector, a particular interference model associated with the sector. Based on a sector model associated with the sector and the determined interference model, one or more actions may be determined in order to remediate any potential interference associated with the sector or surrounding sectors.

  • Publication number: 20220242117
Abstract: The print head cover (83) of an electrostatic deflection inkjet printer is made of a material having an electrical surface resistivity of no more than 1012 ohms per square or an electrical volume resistivity of no more than 109 ohm metres and is electrically connected to an earth line (93, 97). This prevents build-up of electric charge on the cover (83). The resistance from the surface of the cover (83) to a place where a cover earth line (93) joins a signal earth line (97) or enters the umbilical (7) is at least 16000 times the resistance from that place to earth. This prevents an electrostatic discharge to the cover (83) disrupting the electronic circuits. The high resistance earth connection for the cover (83) avoids the need for an earthing wire braid in the umbilical (7). The cover (83) may be moulded from an antistatic or static dissipative material.

  • Patent number: 11378806
Abstract: Techniques for adjusting an optical element using an actuator assembly. The optical element is adjusted by translating the optical element along a linear axis of motion or by applying force upon a surface of the optical element. The optical element can be a liquid lens that is shaped by the application of force upon a surface of the lens. The actuator assembly includes a plurality of lead screws and a mechanical linkage that intercouples the lead screws and that is configured to simultaneously rotate the plurality of lead screws. The actuator assembly further includes a displacement element configured to act upon the optical element, through translational motion of the displacement element in response to rotation of the lead screws. Multiple optical elements can be adjusted simultaneously using respective displacement elements coupled to the lead screws.
