Abstract: An actuator in an HVAC system is provided. The actuator includes a motor and a drive device. The drive device is driven by the motor and coupled to an HVAC component for driving the HVAC component between multiple positions. The actuator further includes a processing circuit. The processing circuit is coupled to the motor and configured to transmit control signals to operate the motor to drive the HVAC component between a first position and a second position, monitor temperature data received from one or more temperature sensors, determine that the temperature data does not meet an expected performance criterion and transmit an alarm signal.

Abstract: A detector for detecting the removal and/or insertion of a weapon out of and/or into a holster. The detector may transmit a message each time the weapon is removed from the holster. A recording system may receive the message and determine whether or not it will begin recording the data it captures. A detector may detect the change in a magnitude of an inductance and/or an impedance of a circuit to detect insertion and removal of the weapon into and out of the holster. The holster is configured to couple to the detector to position the detector to detect insertion and removal of the weapon. An adhesive tape may couple a detector to a holster.

Abstract: A vent system for an automatic transmission includes a front body assembly connected to a housing of the automatic transmission and a connecting tube having a first end and a second end, the first end being connected to the front body assembly. The vent system also includes a rear body assembly connected to the housing and to the second end. The vent system allows ingress and egress of air between inside and outside of the automatic transmission and prevents ingress of moisture/water and egress of transmission fluid.

Abstract: A container having at least one opening seal, which seal is mechanically strong in the dry state but disintegrates in water at temperature of 40.degree. C. or below under the influence of mechanical agitation. The seal is formed from a mixture of a water-labile adhesive and a heat-sealable component.
