  • Patent number: 4091372
Abstract: A directional control lever and horn actuating arrangement is disclosed including a frame, a directional control lever assembly pivotally supported on the frame, a horn, an interrupted electrical circuit including a source of electricity which is selectively coupled to the horn for operation thereof, and a horn actuating mechanism supported by the control lever assembly and movable therewith which is disposed in communication with the electrical circuit and adapted to be manually positioned to complete the circuit and actuate the horn.

  • Patent number: 4070857
Abstract: A hydraulic priority circuit for a fork lift truck or the like includes a variable output pump controlled by a motor. The speed of the motor is controlled by feedback from a demand indicator in a primary work system, such as a hydraulic steering system, and from a demand indicator in a secondary work system, including, for example, tilt and lift hydraulic circuits. A valve means, including a priority control valve, a sequence valve, and pressure compensated flow control orifices, is provided to regulate the fluid flow requirements of the primary work system on a priority demand basis, with the excess fluid flow being coupled to the secondary work system.

  • Patent number: 4002220
Abstract: A hydraulic system for an electric-powered vehicle, such as a lift truck or the like, supplies pressurized fluid for a hydraulic steering system for the vehicle and for hydraulic motors for manipulating the implements of the vehicle, and includes a priority system for directing all fluid flow from the pump to the steering system circuit until a predetermined minimum pressure is achieved therein, after which fluid is made available to the implement circuit. These are provided in the system for automatically cutting off the electric motor for powering the pump of the system when no demand is made on the hydraulic system.
