  • Patent number: 10280774
Abstract: The present application provides a turbine nozzle including an airfoil shape. The airfoil shape may have a nominal profile substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in Table I. The Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z are non-dimensional values from 0% to 100% convertible to dimensional distances in inches by multiplying the Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z by a height of the airfoil in inches. The X and Y values, when connected by smooth continuing arcs, define airfoil profile sections at each distance Z. The airfoil profile sections at Z distances may be joined smoothly with one another to form a complete airfoil shape.

  • Patent number: 10273861
Abstract: An exhaust aftertreatment system for treating exhaust flow from an internal combustion engine, and associated method, allows for independent control of exhaust flow through plural exhaust legs of the exhaust aftertreatment system. The independent control of exhaust flow is carried out by adjusting a valve positioned in each the exhaust legs based on a value of a signal generated by a flow measurement device positioned along at least one of the exhaust legs. The valves can be adjusted to force a target flow in a exhaust leg, relative flow among exhaust legs, exhaust temperature in an exhaust leg, exhaust backpressure and/or imbalance within the exhaust legs.

  • Patent number: 10156425
Abstract: A sighting device for a bow which attaches to a release mechanism being used with said bow. The sighting device includes a sighting assembly, a positioning-and-orienting arm with multiple degrees of freedom, and a mounting clamp. The sighting assembly includes an annular plate, a sight eyepiece, and a support arm. The sight eyepiece is oriented normal to the annular plate and is positioned within a lateral boundary that is defined as an extension of an inner wall of the annular plate. The support arm is swivelably and adjacently connected to the annular plate and holds the sight eyepiece in place. A first end of the positioning-and-orienting arm is adjacently attached to the annular plate and a second of the positioning-and-orienting arm is attached to the mounting clamp. The mounting clamp is attached to the release mechanism, thus positioning the sighting assembly directly in front of the user's eye.

  • Publication number: 20180318107
Abstract: A spinal implant for placement between first and second vertebrae includes a housing having first and second axial end surfaces and a bore extending along an axis through the housing and between the end surfaces. A first projection extends at least partially about the axis and including a channel. A lift is slidably received in the bore and includes threads along its length. A collar is threadably engaged with the lift and extends into the channel on the housing such that the projection prevents axial movement of the collar relative to the housing. Rotation of the collar about the axis causes the lift to move axially relative to the collar and the housing for adjusting the height of the implant.

A transversely extending counterbore extends through front back sides of the top plate portion. A transversely extending bore extends through the front and back sides of the bottom plate portion. The bone plate assembly also includes a pin with a pin head and a pin shaft depending from the pin head. The pin shaft is disposed within the transversely extending bore of the bottom plate portion and has an outer diameter greater than the minor diameter of the transversely extending bore. • Publication number: 20180271571
Abstract: Internal fixation devices are provided that include a plate having a rotatable screw lock mounted in a recess of the plate. The screw lock has a lock head including a laterally extending flange that has an outer edge that is below the upper surface of the plate. In a locked position, a portion of the upper surface of the plate covers at least a part of the lock head to reduce the likelihood of the screw lock being pushed off the plate. Further, in a locked position, the laterally extending flange obstructs passage of a screw through a corresponding screw hole. Such obstruction hinders screw migration.

  • Patent number: 10032464
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for detecting drones are disclosed. An example method includes receiving a digital sound sample and partitioning the digital sound sample into segments. The method also includes applying a frequency and power spectral density transformation to each of the segments to produce respective sample vectors. For each of the sample vectors, the example method determines a combination of drone sound signatures and background sound signatures that most closely match the sample vector. The method further includes determining, for the sample vectors, if the drone sound signatures in relation to the background sound signatures that are included within the respective combinations are indicative of a drone. Conditioned on determining that the drone sound signatures are indicative of a drone, an alert message indicative of the drone is transmitted.
