  • Patent number: 11001158
Abstract: In one embodiment, a static wireless power transfer (WPT) system (with charging spots and non-charging parking spots) receives a request to charge a vehicle. The device schedules a period of time during which the vehicle is allocated access to a particular charging spot based on scheduling characteristics and one or more other vehicles also requesting charging. The device may then send instructions to control the vehicle to autonomously move from a current parking spot to the particular charging spot for the scheduled period of time, the instructions precisely aligning the vehicle in the particular charging spot for optimum power transfer based on a charging coil of the vehicle and a respective ground-based charging coil of the particular charging spot. After the scheduled period of time, the device may send additional instructions to control the vehicle to autonomously move out of the particular charging spot.

  • Patent number: 11005697
Abstract: Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) equalization using a Deep Neural Network (DNN) may be provided. First, a signal in a packet structure may be received at an OFDM receiver from an OFDM transmitter. The signal may have distortion. Training constellation points, pilot constellation points, and data constellation points may be extracted from the signal based on the packet structure. Each data constellation point may correspond to a data subcarrier within a data symbol of the signal. Next, the training constellation points and the pilot constellation may be provided as input for the data symbol to a DNN. A coefficient for each data subcarrier within the data symbol that reverses the distortion may be received as output from the DNN. Then, the coefficient for each data subcarrier may be applied to the corresponding data constellation point to determine a per subcarrier constellation point prediction.

  • Publication number: 20210112182
Abstract: An image capture device includes electronic components and a body. The electronic components include an image sensor and a processing apparatus. The body defines an internal compartment containing the electronic components. The body includes a rear housing and a chassis. The rear housing extends around a top side, a right side, a bottom side, and a left side of the body. The chassis includes an upright portion and a lateral portion extending rearward from the upright portion. The rear housing and the chassis are coupled to each other to cooperatively form the internal compartment with the upright portion of the chassis being coupled to a front end of the rear housing and the lateral portion being positioned outside of and below the internal compartment.

  • Patent number: 10947536
Abstract: Certain disclosed oligomers induce exon skipping during processing of myostatin pre-mRNA. The oligomers may be in a vector or encoded by the vector. The vector is used for inducing exon skipping during processing of myostatin pre-mRNA. A therapeutically effective amount of the oligomer may be administered to a subject patient such that exon skipping during processing of myostatin pre-mRNA is induced. The administration to a subject may be used in order to increase or maintain muscle mass, or slowing degeneration of muscle mass in the subject. The administration to a subject may ameliorate muscle wasting conditions, such as muscular dystrophy. Examples of such muscular dystrophies which may be so treated include Becker's muscular dystrophy, congenital muscular dystrophy, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, distal muscular dystrophy, Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy, facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), limb-girdle muscular dystrophy, myotonic muscular dystrophy, and oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy.

  • Patent number: 10928711
Abstract: An electronic device includes a body, electronic components contained in the body, and two finger members. The two finger members movable relative to the body between an extended state and a collapsed state. In the extended state, the two finger members extend outward from the body for receipt by a mount of an external support. In the collapsed state, the two finger members are collapsed toward the body. In the extended state, the two finger members may extend parallel with each other for receipt in parallel slots of the mount of the external support.

  • Publication number: 20210051520
Abstract: Various embodiments herein disclose scheduling relay of traffic. The method comprises, selecting a second client device from a plurality of client devices. The second client device is located in communication range of the first client device. The first client device is communicating a first portion of a data flow, via a first wireless link, with a first access point of the one or more access points. The method comprises, in response to determining satisfaction of one or more relay criteria: directing the first access point to generate a second wireless link with the second client device; and directing the first access point to provide first metadata including a first set of relay instructions. The first set of relay instructions instructs the second client device to relay a second portion of the data flow between the first access point and the first client device via the second wireless link.

  • Publication number: 20210032974
Abstract: A drilling system includes an internal assembly comprising a chassis, a flow diverter, or both, and a strain gauge coupled to the chassis, the flow diverter, or both, in which the strain gauge is configured to output a signal associated with a strain deformation of the internal assembly. The drilling system also includes a drill collar coupled to the internal assembly, in which the internal assembly extends along the drill collar, and the drill collar encloses the internal assembly of the internal assembly such that a strain deformation of the drill collar causes the strain deformation of the internal assembly.

  • Patent number: 10880409
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device in a serial network de-multiplexes a stream of traffic in the serial network into a plurality of data streams. A particular one of the data streams is associated with a particular endpoint in the serial network. The device determines that data from the particular data stream associated with the particular endpoint should be reported to an entity external to the serial network based on an event indicated by the data from the particular data stream. The device quantizes the data from the particular data stream. The device applies compression to the quantized data to form a compressed representation of the particular data stream. The applied compression is selected based on a data type associated with the data. The device sends a compressed representation of the particular data stream to the external entity as Internet Protocol (IP) traffic.

  • Publication number: 20200404245
Abstract: LK-SURF, Robust Kalman Filter, HAR-SLAM, and Landmark Promotion SLAM methods are disclosed. LK-SURF is an image processing technique that combines Lucas-Kanade feature tracking with Speeded-Up Robust Features to perform spatial and temporal tracking using stereo images to produce 3D features can be tracked and identified. The Robust Kalman Filter is an extension of the Kalman Filter algorithm that improves the ability to remove erroneous observations using Principal Component Analysis and the X84 outlier rejection rule. Hierarchical Active Ripple SLAM is a new SLAM architecture that breaks the traditional state space of SLAM into a chain of smaller state spaces, allowing multiple tracked objects, multiple sensors, and multiple updates to occur in linear time with linear storage with respect to the number of tracked objects, landmarks, and estimated object locations. In Landmark Promotion SLAM, only reliable mapped landmarks are promoted through various layers of SLAM to generate larger maps.

  • Publication number: 20200385972
Abstract: Healthy because a mold is not growing inside, doors to a bathroom can be closed all the time, so germs are not escaping out. Pleasant because an air inside a bathroom is dry and fresh, and mirrors never fog when someone is taking a shower. Safe because you do not have to use any heating device which can be dangerous. At the end it is very inexpensive. The yearly cost is only 3 dollars per year.

  • Publication number: 20200364797
Abstract: A claim adjudication system including an automatic adjudication pipeline that uses pipeline rules to automatically adjudicate a claim associated with a benefit plan at one or more stages. The automatic adjudication pipeline can redirect the claim to a user interface for manual review when a pipeline rule associated with a manual review condition is triggered. The user interface can present information about the claim relevant to the manual review condition in an integrated format, including highlighting the reasons for the manual review. A user can evaluate the claim in the user interface and provide user input that addresses the manual review condition, and the claim can be routed back to the automatic adjudication pipeline. The user input can also be used as training data for machine learning to adjust pipeline rules that are used to automatically process claims and to redirect future claims for manual review.
