  • Patent number: 10635860
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for resolving ambiguity in received voice queries. An original voice query is received following one or more earlier voice queries, wherein the original voice query includes a pronoun or phrase. In one implementation, a plurality of acoustic parameters is identified for one or more words in the original voice query. A concept represented by the pronoun is identified based on the plurality of acoustic parameters, wherein the concept is associated with a particular query of the one or more earlier queries. The concept is associated with the pronoun. Alternatively, a concept may be associated with a phrase by using grammatical analysis of the query to relate the phrase to a concept derived from a prior query.

  • Publication number: 20190176285
Abstract: This application presents a method and apparatus for cooling a through-ported cutting tool with a source of liquid CO2 with a compressed air line with a compressed air inlet and multiple CO2 injection capillary segments; the capillary segments interconnect to the same source of liquid CO2 and can have high pressure valves and throttles; the throttles have different sizes; a first capillary ends near the cutting tool; the second capillary ends near the compressed air inlet. Using a particular sequence of opening or closing the valves to the liquid CO2 to the capillaries, mixing with the compressed air provides and recycling the residual CO2, this invention provides for uniform and controlled cooling of the cutting tool within a certain temperature range.

  • Patent number: 10203362
Abstract: System and methods for estimating a state if a fuse are presented. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods may be utilized in connection with estimating a state of a fuse associated with a manual service disconnect associated with an energy storage system included in a vehicle. Consistent with embodiments disclosed herein, a current event counting-based method utilizing one or more weighted time data buckets associated with various current levels may be used in connection with estimating MSD fuse life. In some embodiments, a MSD fuse end-of-service life signal may be triggered when a total time associated in the weighted time data buckets exceed a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9988157
Abstract: A nacelle may include fan cowl panels which may be opened to provide access to the fan case. A latching mechanism may latch a left fan cowl panel to a right fan cowl panel. The latch may create a separation between the fan cowl panels when unlatched. A shoot pin latch may be aligned with a receiver cavity such that the shoot pin latch may be closed when the latching mechanism is closed. If the fan cowl panels are not fully closed, the shoot pin latch may be prevented from closing, and a high visibility handle may indicate that the fan cowl panels are not latched together.

  • Patent number: 9975642
Abstract: A nacelle may include fan cowl panels which may be opened to provide access to the fan case. A latching mechanism may latch a left fan cowl panel to a right fan cowl panel. As a handle is opened to unlatch the latching mechanism, the movement of the handle may cause a push pin to create a separation between the left fan cowl panel and the right fan cowl panel. The separation may create a visual indication that the fan cowl panels are not latched together, which may prevent an aircraft from inadvertently taking off with unlatched fan cowl panels. The push pin when extended may prevent closure of the fan cowl panels.
